Is the wallet update safe? I only say that because the developers account is compromised, I highly doubt its related to github in anyway but I want to be sure before I grab it. Thanks.
Do not rush with the update, the current version works just fine. Better wait for the official announcement from the development team.

Hey guys, do you have any idea why I cant for example, sell BTX through coinomi? Those two inbuilt "exchanges", change... and shift...something are just not supporting bitcore? Or do I have some sort of error, idk. Everything else is working fine, only during exchange visit I get no founds massage. To be true I was more about buying but seeing that I cant sell, Im hesitated to transfer any additional funds there. Am I forced to use other exchanges, if so than witch one can you recommend?
unfortunately shapeshift and changelly don't support very many altcoins I'd suggest cryptopia as that's what I use

If you prefer instant exchange offices here https://www.cryptochange.co.za/ you can buy Bitcore very quickly and reliably.

unfortunately shapeshift and changelly don't support very many altcoins I'd suggest [removed referral link]as that's what I use Bitcore will definitely get on those platforms when some bigger exchanges are added.

Look at what coin is holding up proper in the midst of this shit show of a storm it is my baby Bitcore (BTX)! Every time I see that sign it shows great resiliency and generally means we are in a strong alt, congrats fam on that tight selection !

Do not rush with the update, the current version works just fine. Better wait for the official announcement from the development team. The GitHub is not compromized - it is safe. Also, Limx Dev's bitcointalk account is currently locked, we hope he will be able to get it reactivated under his control soon. Of course you can wait for our official announcement for the new core release before downloading. The coin price is really stable even when bitcoin is so weak during these day.
Indeed, BTX has behaved in a similar way before. It does not follow 95% of all other coin movements, which is definitly worth noticing.

How do the weekly payouts work? I have been paid twice both at different times. Is there some sort of smart contract or does someone at the BTX team manually distribute them?

OMG actually Bitcore is one of the three coins which are not loosing in the top 100. Thats so nice to see! If this bloodbath goes on like this BTX can soon reach the top 50.

does anybody know the (simple) instruction/manual for claiming the btx (from snapshot november 2nd) from a segwit or legacy btc account on trezor? a couple of days before there used to be a nice and simple explanation on this link of the bitcore page: https://bitcore.cc/claim-hw.phpbut unfortunately it is not to be found there anymore. there had been screens of the btx modified electrum wallet with the correct settings for trezor. now i can only find a few very more complicated explanations on other sites (i.e. reddit or steem) which are long-winded and more risky. is that easy method now gone forever or does anybody know that nice method from that bitcore page?

It's only a temporary solution. You can try: https://bitcore.cc/guides/claim-hw.phpHow do the weekly payouts work? I have been paid twice both at different times. It's a mix of automated and manual distribution. Data is collected automatically. But the distribution is initiated and controlled manually.

Bitcore is in top 80 and holding this sell off strongly. I think we have some strong supporters here and not full of people trying to get rich quick.

anyone know the average mining hash of rx570?
I have a RX 480 8GB doing 9.5 MH/s. Not Overclocked I had a RX 470 4GB that did 8 MH/s Overclocked I sold the 470 to buy a GTX 1060. Nvidia GTX 10 series cards are a lot more profitable for mining BTX. Because of Nvidia's Pascal architect. A lot of miners are finding ways to tweak the mining software to use the Pascal architect also. Seems like Nvidia cards will be more profitable for mining most algorithms. From what I read, the 570 and 580 are not much different from the 470 and 480. So you may see close to the same hash rates. Good luck. I hope this helps.
