They could make the POS coin from the start. Weekly airdrops is not very good model....espesially when it comes to an end...

The weekly airdrops is a way of distributing the coin, and was made by the community that vote this way, this coin will never be a POS coin.
In fact Bitcore BTX is one of the most fairly distributed coins in the market. This coin has a team (really good by the way), and a roadmap that will follow and completed by the team with the support of the community.
Peace!

I mean as an e-wallet at btx website rather than a hardware wallet. forinstance people who have btx at that e-wallet could also earn some btx by some % and there can be other reddit etc actions as same as today for extra earnings.. all the additional earnings will be paid to those e-wallets and people continue to earn with increasing volume. some other coins actually doing those kind of things even locking the amounts etc. and this might be helpful for less circulating and devaluation of the btx.

Osman, the team is working on the payment gateway, BTXM, wp, PR campaign and much more. Just be patient! There absolutely no reason to believe tgey won't deliver on the roadmap. ...this cheap price should be a great opportunity to add more to your stack and reduce your average cost.

there are people who are behind this project and maybe it is good for them to know some people are not happy with this condition. I do my responsibility for this comminity that I am sharing my voice as "hey, I am +1 who is not happy with this condition".
on the other hand, I have a desire to continue to invest but I need to figure out what is happening.

I believe that it would be useful for Bitcore to have the POS mode. This would keep the price at a consistently high level. But I do not know how this is possible at this stage?

POS is not a panacea if the team does not promote the coin.
Again, a vivid example is SIGT.
The coin went to the POS, everyone was waiting for the coin to grow, but on the contrary, it became cheaper. And six months later she completely died.
It remains only to hope that the team really does something, except photos in colored wigs, and visit various events or participate in fake voting.

All that was over a while ago. The only thing now is a signature campaign for Hero and Legendary members and all the spots are currently full. If you had BTC at the time of the timestamp you can claim BTX 0.5:1 for the BTC you had. Timestamp was sometime last October.

A RECENT STATEMENT FROM IVO -

Ivo:
Tough I do understand people who entered this year might be at a loss, I also have to say that every individual is responsible for their own investments.
The dev team has not ‘cashed out’ or left at all.
We only sold minor amounts to pay for listings and expenses.
We know we are just at the start of this project. Expenses don’t entail 6 figure lifestyles or lambo’s Smiley

I gave it a go when they first posted it. It is too hard. I have no idea how they are encoding the private key, but I guess that is the idea. Not supposed to be easy.

Probably not, it would be all over the official channels and here on forum if that was the case. Grin

If you guys are looking to earn some extra BTX I would suggest you sign up for the reddit bounty that we have going on right now.

I will change the rules slightly and if you are a first timer at reddit I will let you join (if you have a full member account here).

See the threads and the rules here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4236484.0

So the short answer to why price is down:
Crypto market in general is down,
We have the extra disadvantage of doing the airdrops and giving massive amounts of coins away for free to the community;
The community decided it’s a good idea to ‘spread’ (dump) those free coins.

Chart of BTX may not look good right now but I can also sense a good consolidation of the price. Hopefully by this week or next week, we could see some huge price action for BTX in the coming days. Still hodling the orignal amount of BTX that I have acquired during the airdrop. Did not sold not even one coin.  Grin
