I can tell you that price of BTX is very stable and I am glad it is this fast. As a fork of bitcoin, I think it has been doing very well.
It is not a fork of bitcoin. It is an independent blockchain that started fresh with its own genesis block where there was an airdrop of coins to bitcoin holders; but in no way it is a fork. A fork splits from the original blockchain. BTX in no way did that. Don't elude yourself. It's a fork. It even states that in About window. BitCore BTX version v0.15.0.2-gba8ed3a93be (32-bit)
Copyright (C) 2011-2018 The Bitcoin Core developers Copyright (C) 2011-2018 The Litecoin Core developers Copyright (C) 2011-2018 The Bitcore Core developers Based on Bitcoin Core, Litecoin Core developers work. If it's not a fork, it would be based on something completely else or written from the scratch. It's NOT. Sure, and it was always wide in the open that Bitcore is based on the original Bitcoin idea and also uses their Core. However since we had a new blockchain and did not start with all the "data-garbage" of the original blockchain, we call it a hybrid-fork. Starting with a real genesis block and an empty blockchain. Actually you will be able to read in the whitepaper that Bitcore is in many ways indeed trying to follow Satoshi Nakamoto's original ideas. In a way we could say that Bitcore is the "clean" version of Bitcoin, without a massive garbage-blockchain containing millions of lost coins (example the 1 million of Bitcoins of Nakamoto) and with a much improved code and without the same scalability problems.

Not a fork , hybrid fork , not fork , fixes all bitcoin and other direct forks issues , read on this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=221111.240and its quick for phone to phone banking , for the unbanked millions . at the same comparison satoshis/photons , $8450 USD/ $ 2 USD. with exactly the same number of coins overall.... do the maths . and see poem in post above.

Bitcore is just another altcoin among the thousands of coins out there.
B-but Bitcore looks like Bitcoin. #Moon #LowSupply #50TPS It's just another altcoin and nothing more. B-but Bitcore will get a whitepaper. #Lambo Explain to us how a "whitepaper"(a basic requirement for any so called project) will mean #Lambo. Whitepaper+40timesfasterthanbitcoin+limitedsupply= MOON!= Lambo! Moon is an obscure destination, Lambo is a fossil, Bitcore with Tesla to Mars!

with zero real-world utility. that part never seems to phase people though. You mean... like Bitcoin and all the thousands of cryptocurrencies out there? Until the present day the whole crypto-world is little more than a giant speculative casino, speculating about FUTURE usefulness of the various cryptos; in the real-world the use of ANY crypto is still almost completely irrelevant.

Okay i stand corrected. that certainly counts as utility. You mean... like Bitcoin and all the thousands of cryptocurrencies out there?
Actually I use bitcoin about 4-5 times a week. I get paid in bitcoin. I pay other people in bitcoin. I buy services with it all the time. I transfer it into fiat and back again when need be. BitCORE on the other hand... you're correct in thinking its value is 99.99% speculative. I just don't see any originality in it and as such its just another clonecoin riding on bitcoin's coat tails.

Please take a look at our ecosystem page on the official website to see all current services for Bitcore: https://bitcore.cc/eco-system/If you live in Australia or in Brazil, paying directly with BTX is already possible. More of these services are in preparation for the future. Also, if you look futher in the history of BTX, you will notice it was never intended as a ride-the-bitcoin hype coin. It was actually created in April 2017, way before the more famous BTG, BCH and other forks of Bitcoin. I suggest you also have a look at the whitepaper of Bitcore: https://bitcore.cc/white-paper/

If follow your logic, then all altkoins are useless, including Bitcoin Cash. But nevertheless, they exist and develop. Bitcore slowly, but develops. And if the team can attract a large investor, then BTX is waiting for a bright future.

So what online merchants directly accept Bitcore as a form of payment?Overstock, amazon etc???
now some , quite soon the world . go ahead and read satoshis visions for bitcoin , try and do it with bitcoin , realise he was only guiding the way to the real destination ..... read the whitepaper .... one coin to find them ... bitcoin one coin to bind them ... all Forks one coin to rule them all .... Bitcore https://howmuch.net/articles/visualizing-the-biggest-economic-bubblesDYOR , get some !! I found the block size discussions from 2010-2013 good education on the subject ... "There are many theories of this. One of them is can Bitcoin continue to function without centralized control? By leaving us (satoshi) he in effect left Bitcoin leaderless and that is by design. This block size issue is likely to be the perfect test since the community has no choice but to implement a hard fork. If Bitcoin survives this it will come out way stronger, there is however also a significant chance that block size issue will turn Bitcoin into a failed experiment. By the way I would not consider your post off topic at all.' ....... block size was 32mb initially .... until satoshi put 1mb in to stop spam flood ...... and heres a fav .. "Quote Maybe Satoshi did put a "time bomb" in his bitcoin system because he considered it an experiment from which we have to learn, and it should self-destroy at a certain point in order for us to make a new system with better properties. Maybe Satoshi wanted to put in a trap, so that only if his heirs were smart enough to have good governance, and if they cannot even change a simple parameter, then it is better that this system dies. Maybe Satoshi wanted to develop a whole crypto market, and needed to put something nasty in bitcoin, in order to make it lose its first mover advantage and open up the market."
