...you will see archives of previous updates if you scroll down - for example, archives from January 2019, December 2018, November 2018, etc... I went through them. I did not find any mention of BTXM... it seems that those references have been removed... I think mistakes have been made, such as with the sudden silence about BTXM...

As you can see BTXM has been promoted by the Bitcore Team and the community such the spinal cord of the future of Bitcore. Sadly, and you have notcied this, no infos have been boradcast concerning the BTXM.
First of all, I am sorry to come lately on the Bitcointalk. it is hard to me to take back the business.
Now, what is BTXM? BTXM is the project of a company led by Ivo. During the last year, Ivo proposes to create an infrastructure called BTXM to have an end-to-end (E2E) solution i.e. from the fiat gateway to buy BTX with fiats to the payment solutions to buy and to sell stuffs (or anything else ^^). From this, the bitcore team decided
to support the project. I highlight this point because it is important to notify this. Then, you got a lot of words and promotions of BTXM in conferences and newsletters and Ivo integrated the Bitcore Team as an official member. The Bitcore team decided to integrate the BTXM to the roadmap to show his confidence to the project of the Ivo's company.
Sadly, during the end of the year, there were discord among the Bitcore Team founders and also with Ivo that resulted in the departure of Ivo and Steve from the Bitcore team. However, it does not mean that BTXM will not exist. This project is still running but the integration of BTX only depends on, and I hope it will be, Ivo from the start.
You have to understand the Bitcore Team can not control third parties. The Bitcore team believed the project will be officially released with the support of Ivo. Today, we have decided to find new solutions with the current economical situation. It is why you have seen Paytomat integration at the end of the year and the mylocal coin integration to have a multi-fiats gateway.
Today, the bitcore Team deals with that and manages the efforts to find back a good trend for Bitcore.
