I sympathize with your frustration, but the first round of elections in France confirmed that the sociologists did not lie. The results coincided with those that they predicted. Hitler was a fascist, Stalin Mao and the others too, fascist isn't the opposit of socialist. You can actually be facsist AND socialist. Socialist is an economic ideology, fascist is a political ideology. You can totally have both. And Marine Lepen is a fascist simply because she completely imposes her opinions in her party, if you disagree even the slightest you get kicked out, and violently. That's the definition of fascism: gathering people by force. But that doesn't mean she's the only one, it's just a fact.
