Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ?
This is crazy, I'm sure it will never happen. Bitcoin has been legalized by many countries, indicating that it will affect the economies of those countries, so the government will always take measures to control the value of bitcoin. Even if not controlled, that can not happen, because the value of bitcoin always depends on the market. The honeybadger will prove you wrong my friend!It's just a matter of time. If you believe or not! $3000 would mean a marketcap of ~$50 billion! This is still just a drop in the bucket compared with the wolrd wide money supply, gold market, bond market, stock market etc. You think $3000 is unreachable? See you in 10 years at the latest when we will be in 5 figures. There will be people like you then who will hate themselves not have taken the opportunity to buy some BTC when it was still "cheap". |

I think that very important question that we should ask is are we talking about 3000 $ net increase, or just bitcoin price rising up to 3000$?
Because if we are talking about the first option, then I would like to say that it is almost impossible with the current infrastructure, the blockchain itself is just not ready to maintain with such a price for one bitcoin, because that would attract massive amount of people.
We are already having issues, which is why nowadays are not so certain like before, it is still not said but there is a high chance of a hard-fork.
All that leads me to the conclusion, that most likely we are not ready to see 3000$/btc in this year, the price is not going to double so quick.

It can easily reach 10k when people diversivy their gold and silver bags into btc. |

No, bitcoin can't reach $3,000 price in just a year, even i'm a bitcoin believer, i don't think bitcoin will reach that because the volume of bitcoin in the market is not cheap to just buy bulk and hold, it is around $1.3k per 1 bitcoin so it will cost a lot of money in order to reach $3,000. In my opinion, it will take at least 2 years for bitcoin to reach $3,000.

i think it will be hard to reach that price after all the market is unpredictable sometimes bitcoin pumping and sometimes also bitcoin price going on some big dump . as you search about bitcoin pricechart in the internet you will found out that bitcoin price is pumping and dumping so i think for now it will be impossible for bitcoin to reach $3000.

thats so impossible dont you see that bitcoin right now is not increasing its price because bitcoin and the market needed to be balance in order to run it more towards many years but when bitcoin reach the highest peak thats the end of bitcoin because half of the big whales will gonna pull out and sell their bitcoin in order to be rich and right now bitcoin is not taxable because its not a fiat money it is crypto currency thats why i bow satoshi for developing this.

Yes bitcoin can very easily reach 3000$ in a year, but not this year. If the current uptrend continues, I would be expecting BTC to close at $2000 by the end of this year. But obviously, we can't predict it exactly as some big event might turn the tables and bitcoin would be going down. |

Prices that can be a reference in the range 1500USD up to 1800USD. It is a price that still makes sense. While when calling 3000USD then I say that it is a difficult thing. It needs a miracle that bitcoin can increase 150% of the current price. |

Give it some months. This month +300 USD, not bad Considering that those +300$ are coming after a -300$, I do not think that it is that great. Yes, of course it is good, but this is not marvelous either. |

I am optimistic too about where bitcoin is going, but I am not that optimistic that we would even reach beyond $2,000 ranges. It might be possible to get to around near $2,000 but that would probably be it and not beyond that level. Though, if it does happen, I'd be happy to embrace the situation and try to sell some of my coins. |

Japan has "officially" legalized Bitcoin now, and adoption will grow much bigger soon, when more people start using Bitcoin there. We see a very slow increase in the price, but it is moving up monthly now and we are not even near the "Black Friday" and "Xmas" events where there are a significant spike in the price.  ..... So my wild guess is "$2000 for this year.  |

But it would take a huge event for the price to double. It could definitely go to $1500 or $2000 in a year.
But we would need much more adoption by a large retailer etc.

If the problem with scaling and high fees are resolved, this may have a chance to happen. But since the clash between bu and core does not make bitcoin to move forward, I doubt 3000 can be reached in a year.
