Maybe it really can happen if you see the potential of bitcoin for now. Well, we can never guess the exact bitcoin price path, but, if the bitcoin price goes up like this, maybe within a year, the bitcoin price will definitely be $ 3000.

Bitcoin price literally doubled in one year but since $1200 price range is a little high for most of the people they rather find alternatives to direct buying Bitcoins which would be mining and as long as people can mine for themselves with a cost of even %80 of the current market price they will definitely do it, so unless difficulty increases that much as to make it more profitable to simply buy the coins and not mining them I don't see $3000 or even near $2000 in this year.
Even if ETF approves then people will go and mine instead of buying into the hype.
Home based casual mining is long gone,it is not at all profitable to mine bitcoin with the difficultly level we have,the positive side is that since the alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin people will be investing their time in mining alts and then convert those coins into bitcoin and that is the possible situation now,the speculation of bitcoin will continue and new grounds will be broken with time. Yes exactly it is happening now. Either way whether the people convert the traditional currency or the altcoin in the end they buy bitcoin. It means that the bitcoin market is ultimately improving. The speculation of the BTC will remain and will continue but this is not a huge issue for the BTC holders because they all are ready for the situation coming to them. |

With the way the price of bitcoin is moving you really cannot say never as you got plenty of time to hit those valuation and if the SEC approves the ETF then it is a matter of time that the price breaks those valuation.In a realistic situation the price could see those valuation with time as more countries will be legalizing bitcoin we could see more investments in it which would increase the price. |

Everything is possible so it's hard to say exactly but despite current relatively quick rise I don't think that price will touch 3000$ so soon. For that it takes time and all conditions on the market to be right. We can expect further pump but not without any limit and corrections made along the way.
I agree everything is possible but certain thing has more possibility to happen than other thing. Like for example in this case, who would have known that Bitcoin will touch more than $1400 today, but with regards to Bitcoin reaching $3000 either this year or within a year of this post is has a steep possibility. I think it is possible to reach $2000 in a year but reaching $3000 is quite ambitious. Though if ever Bitcoin scaling is solved, then there is no doubt, $3000 is easy or even surpass this amount in a year time. |

Well for now its impossible even we are seeing more price increase coming.. as i can seen the price is keep rising but the issue from bitfinex still not solve that i think this exchange site will be the next mt.gox well this is just my thoughts but i am afraid that the price will crash down if you are late for exchanging your holding amount of bitcoin or sell few of your bitcoin just to get the profit for this price.. So better to always keep follow the trends and be wise to your decisions.. |

I'm sure the price will be $3000 difficult to achieve because a lot of things, especially is speculation. the price of the week did indeed go up constantly, but I'm not sure you can continue to survive until the end of the month.

Why not? We are almost at $1,500. If the ETF gets listed somehow, we may reach $2,000 to $2,500 per coin. Else, it is going to take some time, but not more than 12 to 15 months. Because the growth in the number of users is pretty obvious now.

I think that potentially, there would be no problem for bitcoin to reach even more than 3000$ price level before the half of 2018.
But we would need to see some changes going on. The current fee size just cannot remain like that, so we need to fix it: same as the confirmations time.
Even with a proper fee, you need to wait an hour usually unless you want to spend even more money than usual for just transfering it to somewhere else at first block.
If those issues will be changed, im sure that bitcoin will reach 3000$. Japan is adopting it, and we are already seeing them buying a lot of bitcoins.

Anything is possible, but that does not mean that is likely, look at how much time we needed to wait for all time highs, and at the time we are in the middle of a bubble, I don’t think it is going to get us to that price and after the bubble burst then the price is going to get lower. |

Right I think $3000 is very impossible to happen in this year 2017 but it will happen I think in 2018 but no one knows what happen in bitcoin in 2018 or the next day. For I dont recommend expecting to much but it is your prediction only. I think the price the bitcoin have possible to reach is $2000 or maybe $2500 and thats possible because the price as of now is $1500 and halving is soon to happen again in july and for sure the price increase. |

Right I think $3000 is very impossible to happen in this year 2017 but it will happen I think in 2018 but no one knows what happen in bitcoin in 2018 or the next day. Halving happens in every four years so most probably next halving would happen at the year 2020 so I don't expect bitcoin for now to reach $3000 marks but I do expect it to continue to rise then dump later on because that's just the way bitcoin goes for the past years that I have been using it. I really do hope for now it will sustain it's current upward movement until it reach 1600$ price. |

Always remember the resistance, everytime Bitcoin price surge up there is always a steep going down in price. Obviously, I am saying that we can observe some downfall in price after this rapid increase in price. A room for correction before going up in price again. So I guess we won't be seeing $3000 at the end of the year, probably at the end of 2018. |

i think it will be hard to reach that price after all the market is unpredictable sometimes bitcoin pumping and sometimes also bitcoin price going on some big dump . as you search about bitcoin pricechart in the internet you will found out that bitcoin price is pumping and dumping so i think for now it will be impossible for bitcoin to reach $3000.
If that really happens bitcoin price $3000 then I feel it is very easy to be rich but I am not sure because the price of the bitcoin ride downhill now and allow bitcoin will be held by each State in the Government, because it would be very helpful to the development of the economy |

I don’t believe in all these. The ratio with which the prices are going high is indicating that it will go more in the same year. People are already buying new coins. Today it hit $1620+ this price clearly says that people are interested and love buying that BTC as a potential investment to the fiat they have. |

It can't be in this year, bitcoin price has increase rapidly within this week due to speculation of ETF. I believe that bitcoin will be corrected after 15 th May if SEC decision is another rejection. However, there's nothing we can say it for sure as we can't predict what will happen in the future. |
