I think it will be $2000 in 6 months or less..

It's hard to tell now what will be the price of bitcoin for the next 6 months. But I'm sure that in the end the price of bitcoin will still stay on the peak. And $2,000 in six months? Hmm.. it's possible but chances that it could not happen too. So, the best thing to do right now is just to keep on holding, I just read an article at cointelegraph that the price can even go up to $10,000.

Yes but this can also be a planning of the investors who may be giving the hype to market and selling their bitcoins on high prices and can crash the market later to collect the bitcoin in a low price from the people. As these thing have been in practice in past by various companies. They create an artificial hype in the stock exchange and after they are done with their goals they withdraw their money and crash the stock exchange.

Yeah, we can say within 6 month may be bitcoin will be come at $2000, but it will be come only when bitcoin never take turn to go back. For example, if bitcoin price start to down than i am sure bitcoin will be down at least $800 to $900, than it will be hard that bitcoin come at $2000 in this year.

I think that even after a big fall by the end of this year, the price of bitcoin will reach $ 2000.

This is actually what I'm worrying about. Everytime bitcoin reaches an all time high price then some big news will come to shake it's price to be dump just like what happened when Sec denied BTC ETF and BTU hype.

Remarkable improvement. We will find it difficult to predict bitcoin prices in the next 6 months. But the fact is looking at this time then everyone will be optimistic that bitcoin prices can surpass 2000USD.

Are you mad right now the price is 1520$ + in yobit.net and even i have checked with other exchanges also and every were it has crossed 1500$ mark. and if bitcoin got approval in ETF then we can see $2000 price in this month itself.

I am standing by my opinion that the 2000 mark may be reached sometime around the New year, but technical issues must be resolved during the summer because overall situation is actually far from good. Otherwise, we'll struggle to come anywhere near it, and -more importantly- remain there.

But what if the technical issues are not resolved and everything stays the same? Bitcoin will not reach $2000 this year then according to your opinion.

By technical issues, I assume you mean the debate between a hard fork to BU or a soft fork to Segwit activation?

So hold on and fasten your seat belt as we are already riding a fast train of bitcoin. And right now the price is having a pump and dump ranging $1495 to $1,550 and hopefully that it will make $1,500 as it's new flooring price. Take step a little by little for bitcoin so that, don't be afraid with the rapid increase, it's just because of the demand and adoption.

Eventually... Eventually we will break through the $10,000 level like we have broken through the $1000 level not that long ago. $2000 is nothing more than peanuts if you are able to see the bigger picture.

Long term speaking, the price will only increase further - as has been the case from the very beginning. Short term speaking, there are enough opportunities to make use of. Problem however is that you need to see these opportunities. If you don't see them, and thus don't make use of them, you'll be left behind.

i'm glad with the current situations because honestly i thought we will stuck at $1000 for few months ahead but everything has change that bitcoin could prove that the price already surpassing $1500 however if this rally hasn't ended probably hit $2000 is very possible for this year

Around the forum every users​ were speculating that the price will reach $1500 or more, but very few users have the hope it sure reaches. Now on reaching $1500 users can't believe it and a refreshed mind has given the hope that we'll experience $2000 at least by the year end.

It would not make sense to withdraw and keep the fiat because that would mean you are now out of the "game".

That's a good idea to make and if fiat money is not really at your bad needs, well withdrawing is not a good options to do and you might just spemd that fiat money on things thar you don't exactly need. When your money kept being stagnant and mot moving like keeping a fiat in your vault or pocket, so it's better not to withdraw your bitcoins as fiat cash and you had the advantages of holding it and invest again for the next price increase. I am confident enough that bitcoin at $2000 will positively be a reality in time and I know It's a stable price in the future. Good thing is it will be rising more than $2000 due to more investors will be pumping price and buying btc in order to have huge profit soon in a right time to sell, but expect that for year 2018 because 2017 might not reach that price by reasons of fluctuations of market price.
