it depends on ur cpu hash rate , u can calculate the hashrate on nicehash.com to see how profitable it could be

guys i m mining via nicehas software with gtx 1070 and 970 thats ok. but i have 1 x E5-2620 V3 2.4 - 6C 12T 1 x E3-1220 v3 3.1 - 4C 4T 1 x i7-6700 3.4 4 x i5-6500 3.2
and i dont want to waste these CPU powers. How can i use it. Beyond all costs i wish like to know
1- which coin, software, pool or wallet should i use. (prefer no software just command system) 2- i have already a wallet on nicehash but there is a small depeosit fee is there any good alternatives. 3-Generally using win7 x64 or server2012 on them. should i install a linux or Ubuntu OS (in servers if i do it on virtualization will it decreese of my mining rate) 4-which period they are making transfers to wallet i mean after reached 0.001 LTC or 0.00006 BTC etc.
need your guidance. Thank you for all interest.

As mentioned before, you could mine biblepay, Use this container if you don't want to deal with the optimized mining setup: https://hub.docker.com/r/cryptozero/biblepay-opt/

I have 434h/s with Ryzen 1700x @ stock on xmr
only ? that is not much for such expensive cpu if i push my fx8300 above 4.4ghz id does also that speed for only 1/4 price of the ryzen i run it at 4.1ghz for 400h/s going down to 385 when i use the computer Good afternoon, tell me please what parameters of overclocking you have applied. I have a processor 8320 motherboard gigabyte 970fx, 8 gigabytes of DDR3 1600. 7 cores, overclocked to 4.2 and above nothing helps. All energy-saving and other unnecessary functions disconnected in the BIOS. As I have not played with the settings, I can not get over 300 hashes. tell me please how to do more. And the motherboard is heated to 69 degrees, the processor to 56. The bridge is heated. Thank you.

well I'll give another vote for aeon! mine it, it you have 4 cores CPU, with proper setting, it will be running in 50% of load when mining the cryptonight-lite version of AEON algo is more power efficient so your cpu do not consume to much energy with i5 like 6400 or something similar you'll get about 400-600 h/s it will give you like 0,5 aeon per 2 days I guess. so do not sell it, wait. once it will pump, say once in 2-3 month sell and earn x3 or x5 more profit
I get 1550h/s with my dual xeon X5650 How do you do that?. I have an X5650 with free electricity, thanks for your help.

I will be very grateful With my Core i7 2600 with 8 MB cache I get around 700 H/s by using 4 threads of 2MB each with the miner XMRig and settings av=2, t=4 and cryptonight-lite. A core i5 6500 has 6 MB cache so you can run 3 threads of 2 MB each and it should be around 500 H/s for Aeon. With a miner like Aeon-stak-CPU or XMRig you can choose using 1MB or 2 MB cache for each CPU thread and also set number of threads. The trick is to let the threads using only the cache memory in CPU and use a setting that use all of the CPU cache memory. You should not use more threads than supported bu the CPU. Core i5 6500 has 4 threads (one for each core) and using all 4 cores with 1MB memory each is only using 4MB cache memory and 2MB is left unused. You probably get higher hashrate by using 3 threads of 2MB each. Test both options and see what is best. Also check power usage and if the computer can run other tasks when mining on CPU. With 3 threads for CPU mining you should be able to run GPU mining also or use the computer for other tasks without having to stop CPU mining.

What's the point of using the laptop for CPU mining with the possible profit below 50 cents per day and the constant overheating of all the components? Mining won't necessary destroy the laptop however undoubtedly it will reduce it's lifespan. Even such a simple thing as a laptop's fan is not designed to last long in 24/7 mode. I had to replace a bunch of those when I was frequently using my laptops for intense calculations.

You could try the Magi (XMG) coin. It has a unique algorithm (cpu only, forever) that is specifically designed to be mineable on an average cpu. Block rewards decrease as overall hashpower increases which discourages big miners. It has a pretty stable price at around the 3500 sat range. If you have a decent computer gridcoin may also be profitable.

Thanks. Do you have experience mining this coin? Using i5 for example how much coins I can get?
