Hello. I'm considering pointing some rigs for test and creating a list of hashrate/gpu,
can i mine direct to an exchange? which ones? ty
a list exist on eggpool homepage but do not cover many gpus so that would help a lot of people. about mining direct to an exchange is not a good thing to do because you cant put an text message(required) and the exchange dont know where to put the coins. exchanges uses the same address to avoid transfer fees for every trade,

Try post the full log of the node. Its located in the Bismuth parent directory called node.log. Or for a simple solution try to delete the ledger.db file then reruns the node, see if it works.

So, when is the first halving? Halving of mining rewards? The mining reward started at 15.0 at block 1 and gradually decreases by 0.000001 Bismuth for every block found. The reward is currently 14.385832 Bismuth at block 614168. (15 - 614168 * 0.0000001) Interesting, I never noticed that type of reward reduction in any other coins. Cool trying to avoid price shocks, there is enough volatility already in the ecosystem

Thanks for the heads-up @sluppy What is Message in Cryptopia adress? How can i send this coin ?)))
The "Message" is required to identify your personal wallet on cryptopia exchange, as that BIS address is cryptopia address, is common for all users. To send coins to their exchange fill the cryptopia address in the "Recipient" field and put the "Message" in the "Data" field. Tip: Send a small test amount like 2-3 BIS before sending large amounts of money.

Can the devs please help and let them know . Thanks

I'm curious what makes BIS valuable, eg. do you need coins to run the dApps?
Does it need n * BIS to operate services? Interested on what the teams has to say on that.

Dapps based upon a chain (not just Bismuth one) use on chain transactions to operate. Bismuth Dapps are based upon transactions and "openfield" data. That is, an optional arbitrary data field that can be used for virtually anything. Any operation is then a Bismuth transaction. Bismuth transaction have a fixed base fee plus a variable part that depends on the data field length. So, yes, any Dapp will consume Bis as part of its working. It's how all Dapps on any blockchain work. The chain provides a secure infrastructure, the dapps build upon and "pay" for that. Then the transaction fees go to the miners, who are the one securing the infrastructure via PoW.
