1,000,000,000 (1 billion) initial coins
73 initial adopters
so roughly 13.7 Million each (assume equal distribution)
at 21 BTC Total
0.000000021 BTC per coin

current market rate is about 0.00013 (6000x)

To those are who are buying these coins... most of the coins are being hoarded, so you can only buy them on the market for 6000x or 600,000% of what all of the 1 billion coins were paid for at genesis. The early adopters are being greedy, selling them at such a high rate for an unproven technology that hasn't been open sourced. Also, the exchange enforces a minimum order price. They're all already out in circulation, they collectively paid $3000-$4000 for them in September/October. And only a fraction is being sold on the market, at 600,000% premium.

Stop buying these coins so high.

This

Funny thing is, a few hours later he bought Nxt for a few BTC. Smiley

Yeah so what? I only bought a fraction of what I would like to invest, like 10%. I at least want some coins to hold on to. But I would much rather invest the other 90% sooner than later. And I won't be doing that at 600,000% premium. So, start dumping.

Waiting for a pending NXT deposit for three days now. Sent two messages. A deposit that was submitted later, was processed, but this one is still pending. Is processing random or something?

Also reported a bug when I cancelled a sell order of 300NXT and only got 299NXT back.

Massive improvement with site speed. It's gone from sluggish and barely loading to loading every page instantly Smiley

We had a long backlog because of the server troubles and blockchain issues. Both should now be gone.

No, NXT deposit processing is sequential but it is still manual, involving lots of fakes, thus missing some genuine ones.

You used fractional amounts?

Sorry to hear there are a lot of fake transactions. Mine was confirmed over 2000 times. What should I do to push it through?

You used fractional amounts?

Nope. Created a sale order of exactly 300NXT, then later cancelled it and got 299NXT back.

P.S. The upgraded site is indeed very responsive. Good job!

When is the order book going to be full size again?
I can't see the majority of the real buy orders because it looks like a lot of the sellers with large amounts of NXT are filling the buy order page up with lots of tiny orders, close to the selling price to keep the price high

Well it looks like I sent 10k NXT to the wrong address.
I missed one digit on the account number.
No idea how I could have been that careless.
NXT doesn't have reversible transactions right?

In any case I was stupid enough to make this mistake.
But DGEX really needs some improvements.
Allowing copy paste in the address confirmation should be disabled.
Withdrawals take way too long (I sent a small test transaction first but that hasn't even arrived yet).
And being able to cancel a transaction is a must.
So that in case of user error it can be corrected.
Since manual verification is done on your end, it shouldn't pose an issue.

Well here's hoping my luck starts turning soon.
But I'm pretty sure my appetite just flew out the window.

IMO there should be only "Are you sure? Take a look again" alert before final acceptance. The same in Nxt client.
Any canceling transaction which already happened has no sense.

DGEX will need to improve, because it is only way for them to stay competitive. New server shows they are trying, i didn't have any problems with logging. But this isn't perfect page so we just need to remember it and take it into account.

Len it can work in both directions Wink

Please take a look at these two transactions - it's been several days waiting for 2 NXT deposits, plenty of confirmations (sent a PM and email from site as well).

Your messages are of no use for us if you don't include your DGEX account number in every one of them. Thanks.
