What you say is true but I was really referring to MC. If it exceeds a quarter of the token price it will exceed the MC. Why not now LTC is getting everything BTC is not for now ?  the question is no longer why LTC needs to exist but perhaps why does BTC need to exist...

It will, We know if bitcoin gets a lot of bullish trends right now and it supports the bitcoin price to get another ATH. We must remember if LTC is a silver and bitcoin is a gold. Both are very identical in my mind. 

Due to the massive increase of bitcoin demands, It will give a lot of advantages for litecoin to be another alternative for bitcoin itself.

It's possible for ltc market cap will be equal with XRP.

LTC has crossed $1 Bn. It is up 40% in the last 24 hours!!!     
But still a long way to go before it crosses XRP. Ripple is worth almost twice of Litecoin, in terms of market capitalization.

I think it is very possible, but extremely difficult, LTC needs to be pumped double, to 0.03, so you have larger market cap.

Here we can't compare these two Because the main thing in the two of the altcoins is that Thier basic concept to exist in the altcoins market is different .
The litecoin is mean to have value of the bitcoin in small amount and Ofcourse if it is lite than BTC then its price will be comparable to bitcoin Because its basic price was also comparable and Currently also comparable .
But in the case of the xrp , you need to see the starting base price that really small , so here it will not be good to say that xpr is back.to the litecoin .
Here the progress of the xrp isch more fast ( in my opinion ) then what is in the case of the litecoin .

I think there's big possibility because litecoin now is in a good state and xrp is not too famous, if litecoin keep on continue on growing it can replace xrp place and there is a lot of investor attracted to litecoin for now

I think who ever could make many supply could win. Btc is the highest not because only of its price because everyone can mine it easily and its supply is in demand. LTC may increase in the market but that depends on its demand,a lot of altcoins were made nad LTC is one of the oldest. I would agree that LTC would increase but i its not really that it will overtaking any others.

It was #2 coin for a long time, i dont see why it cant have a short stay around those levels again.  There is much more money in crypto and it went to $50 before with less people/money involved on the pump.

Overtake bitcoin you fine that is most impossible thing we will actually see. Bitcoin has a market cap of some $30 bn and ltc didn't even reach a billion. For now i only think that eth is the right coin which has a chance to replace bitcoin.

I don't like ltc, but if it manages to implement LN soon then it might go above XRP. Ripple made one of the best legal "scams" in the history of crypto. They are basically a private central bank that keeps increasing the inflation by releasing more tokens. And all of it centralized, ofcourse. But most people either don't bother to research or simply bet they can make some profit off it, because of teh FOMO reaction.
