### CWI-POOL SYSTEM - INFLUXCOIN

hi all ...

our pools are getting a backend update - and the first of these are all the x-algos and quark ...

the influx pool ( official influxcoin pool ) is in need of testing with more than just a few hundred megahash ( which we have tested with so far ) ...

two ports for the miners -

1202 and 5202 being lodiff and hidiff respectively ...

for the smaller cpu / gpu miners and small asic - port 1202 is built with a cap of the difficulty so its not 'too' heavy on the miners ...
for the larger gpu miners / farms / large asic / renting ( miningrigrentals / nicehash / etc ) - port 5202 is built with a medium level difficulty which can reach a very high difficulty for the very heavy miners ...

just register - create workers - point your miners and you will be off mining ...

the top left hand corner of the pool shows the brief details ( like coin - algo - cwi-level - lodiff port - hidiff port - and cwi test designation ) - and is also the pull down menu for the other pools we are building ( and have built ) ...

miner parameters are very simple with this brief info ... for example ( using ccminer under linux - making sure you change 'chrysophylax.cwi:x' parameter to your workername and password ) ...


lodiff port - for small miners ...

the original was nice and simple - and we like that ... so the new op will be based on the old - with all updated info ...

i will be away for a few days - but the work on the base of the ALL the threads will be universal and 'standard' across the cwi-threads - especially this one ... as we will be basing all of them on this one ... simple is the way we are looking at making all our threads - and we do have a colleague that will be looking at them down the track to make them much more appealing also ...

ive requested a couple of things from cory ...

- one of them is the original copy of the post of the old thread - so we can update it and publish here ...
- the other is the keys / un and pw / for the slack profile ...

slack is something i personally CANNOT use properly on my system - so its not a huge priority for us here at the moment ... but the copy of the op is ...

cory is busy on other projects at the moment - and we just need to wait for him to get back to us ... there is little time to create a page for the op - and as unprofessional as this looks - that is the reality ... the backend / infrastructure is way more important at the moment as this will support all our coins ( grn - ozc - drz - as well as infx ) and once done - will not need to be rebuilt until the upgrade of the infrastructure in the coming months ...

so please be patient with these four coins - and the supporting projects we have at cwi ...

a few things in the network have been removed due to the various issues that arose - and killed them off - like the original infx exchange pool ... the code for that has been removed and is no where to be found at the moment ... but we are now running an mpos pool in our cwi-pool system ...

what other details are you after for the time being? ...

initially we are looking at a new algo for the miners - and a new codebase later ... but for the time being - the coins will be running as per usual ...

and there will be no ico - unless a full relaunch of the coin is going to happen ... and as far as we are concerned - it wont ...

Yo Chrysophylax and the rest of the CWI team, we appreciate your efforts to revive/revamp the coins and the communities. Could you elaborate a little bit on what the plan is.


1. What will be the purpose (use cases) of the all these coins? Will they work as currencies in marketplaces for example.

2. Will they have complementary functions? or they will be separate coins / communities .

3. Can you give us a glimpse of the roadmap with some timeframe in order to adjust our expectations?

4. When should we expect the websites, whitepapers and the rest of the important info which will generate interest?

5. You seem to underestimate the importance of Slack with a weekly (even monthly) interaction with devs and a reddit thread for the AMAs etc. I cannot stress how significant slack is for the success of the community, please set it up ASAP, you need to modernize from the ICQ and MIRC!
