I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
In my country, i haven't seen any bitcoin advertisement too but saw so much news about scam ICO, hackers that related to bitcoin and crytocurrency.
But it's a good idea, let people see advantage of bitcoin.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Maybe this is a new breakthrough, need to be appreciated. With bitcoin in TV ads, of course more and more people know bitcoin.
And maybe this can push up the price of bitcoin that is now being down.

Advertising bitcoin on TV may be illegal in the country that is not allowed, and such person may be jailed. But I p the country that allow it,I don't think it is illegal.

I think that the sex of the world has already heard about bitcoin. It's just that many people treat him with apprehension, like something else unknown. As history shows, the world community was distrustful of everything new.

I think it's good, but not necessarily in other countries can accept the development of bitcoin. because with the development of bitcoin in the country, can affect economic development in the banking world in particular, can disrupt the development of assets in the country, in other words feel rivaled with bitcoin

I don't think advertising on tv would be necessary.  It's getting known fast just by word of mouth.

Its important to give truth facts and good news to the audience.
The word of mouth or so called news in internet and press are deadly for bitcoin.

TV Adsvertising isn't expensive now. We only need to start.

Right now, you can see that Bitcoin is community driven and it will be hard for us to decide on which advertisement to release. TV advertisements aren't cheap so a big sum of expenses should be to account. Right now, word of mouth, YouTube videos, blogs are the best way to promote Bitcoin.

It is seems like the same in our country. I haven't seen bitcoin advertise on TV ads because doing so well need big expenses, permits and agreement in accordance to the law as well. We only get informed bitcoin through websites like, google, youTube, facebook and twitter that recognized bitcoin platforms. But it could be possible to happen to other country which are now started adapting bitcoin legally, they have the great chances to promote bitcoin through TV advertisement to make their community aware about it.

Promo-videos are extremely expensive. There are no users or cryptocurrency miners who want to pay for it. Bitcoin is not a trademark.

Bitcoin is already the mainstream and even if we don't advertise it on tv anymore, it's already known to the majority of people across the world. Forget about media and television, it's the social media that plays a major role of spreading the good news of cryptos today.

This is pretty good, I think. If bitcoin is advertised on television, many will know bitcoin. Bitcoin ads also add value. Many people will want it because of its high value. Advertising also increases the trust of the people and people will feel safe and close. But to do this is very difficult. Instead of paying for advertising. Because advertising on television is very expensive.

I believe ads on television will increase the number of people using bitcoins. As soon as they are interested, they will look for information about bitcoin. With the help of the internet, it would be very easy to do so

Personally I don't think that it is the excellent idea to promote bitcoin now through advertising on television.

This was tried with the bitcoin bowl, but people still dont really understand exactly what bitcoin is and it is extremely hard to show on a short advertisement. Our best bet is to put that money into other methods which would most likely be better at bringing more people in and showing them how it works

The idea to display bitcoin on tv is great for marketing the popularity of bitcoin in the community, tv is an effective visual audio communication tool to promote a product. If the product is bitcoin, of course make a talk show first for explanation about bitcoin by cyptopia expert. Then proceed with creating an eye-catching ad to see. In my opinion it will be going to make the popularity of bitcoin be famous. And draw the public's attention to try to invest bitcoin.

This will make the BTC more developed, which will be widely available in the market. But today many people have known BTC without advertising, BTC today too popular. I think mentioning BTC everyone knows them.

Its impossible for bitcoin advertised on TV in some countries like China, but we can see bitcoin full of internet, so I think TV audience is not the user of bitcoin, people who cant get information on internet may never be able to accept bitcoin

I think the idea of advertising on TV is a good thing, as we know that advertising online now has many limitations, and I'm sure that advertising on TV is better and more profitable because the audience is huge and all social and educational.

Indeed, if Bitcoin will be advertised on television it will spread out easily; thus it will gain more popularity and a lot of people will believe on it since it has been advertised on television.

TV has a big audience and the best media to advertise a product. But i think bitcoin has already advertised on TV unpurposely. Since bitcoin was skyrocketed last year, bitcoin frequently made into headline news and i believe it appeals many people to start learning about bitcoin. I also believe that Bitcoin will be spreaded naturally once it gets mass adoption.

As mentioned, bitcoin isn't a brand or a company. Either bitcoin businesses/websites or bitcoin organizations would have to take up the cause of advertising/promoting their business/site and bitcoin along with it. A good way would be for these entities to advertise on televised sporting events as well as with signs in sports stadiums/arenas. Maybe sponsor a major sporting event/cup.
