To be honest, I can not see any point why we should collect money for such a purpose.
So, why would anyone advertise BTC anywhere, also including TV? How can anyone be profitable out of it, or even get better revenue because of that?
I think that bitcoin is too large for instance, way too many people are using it: so it is pretty divided among big number of wallets.
The only case you may get anything from doing that is when you own a really big % of total bitcoins released right now: and when you are sure that such an activity will make bigger movement on bitcoin volume, and it will lead to any upward price surges.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I don't know if Tv commercials could affect significantly the bitcoin and knowledge that people have about it. Many people are watching commercials but without actualy paying attention what the commercial is all about. Also, it wouldn't have the same affect in all countries and the problem could be the audience, who are the targeted people?

By watching bitcoin then they will be curious and find out more on the internet, I think this is a good idea because it will make the user increase drastically, and I'm sure with creative advertising then everything will be as planned. |

I honestly don’t know who will do that? If bitcoin was run by one individual then I could see this happening, but it’s decentralized so who is going to advertise it? And, how it is going to benefit any individual? So, it clearly is not happening UNLESS government gets involved. But yes, I think this might be solid option for upcoming ICOs because they could gain attention. Right now, I have invested in Upfiring, so advertisement as such for them will be great not for something like Bitcoin or even Ethereum.

I do not think that idea is feasible. Bitcoin with peer and anonymous features. It has not been recognized and supported by governments. Who is responsible for the content of bitcoin advertising? Bitcoin transactions can occur without the management of any organization or authority. This is really dilemma. |

Of course, this is great for the development of Bitcoin. Because if Bitcoin to advertise on TV it is certain all the people around the World can see and certainly many are interested in Bitcoin. But this is very difficult to happen if Bitcoin has not been legalized in a country that wants to advertise it. Maybe if in some countries is legal there will be a TV commercial about Bitcoin. |

it will really be helpful for bitcoins rise, advertising it on tv is really a great idea for its own expansion and its own growth. And to mind, it would be a great effect to the countries who has banned bitcoin |

it will really be helpful for bitcoins rise, advertising it on tv is really a great idea for its own expansion and its own growth. And to mind, it would be a great effect to the countries who has banned bitcoin I think this is an effective advertising and marketing strategy for bitcoin. However, it seems that there is no basis for this when the creator of bitcoin is still unknown. Who will be legally responsible and contract for that? It is a difficult assumption to put into practice. |

Thats a good idea, advertise bitcoin on tv is better, so everyone will know about bitcoin even the place without internet if they watch televesion they know about bitcoin. |

I think it is great. If you advertise bitcoin on tv then there will be a lot of people know bitcoin. The bitcoin community will increase, the demand for Bitcoin has increased. So, I think the bitcoin's price will increase. Many people will believe in bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market is also expanding.

I think its a great idea if we advertise bitcoin on television channel. Of course, millions of people like to waitch tv, they will become familiarize with bitcoin and how to earn from it. The more investors that are willing to invest, the more bitcoin will become famous and be used all over the world. Promoting Bitcoin on television will make the community broad and will become famous. |

Great idea for promoting bitcoin but isn't it hard ? because government don't fully accept bitcoin as a normal payment option? and whos gonna fund it because T.V. advertisement is costly, aside internet is more efficient when promoting something than a national television that only covers a nationwide while internet is worldwide.

Bitcoin being on the news wether it is bad news or good news is already a free advertisement. People who have no idea what is bitcoin will look it up and learn about it which a somewhat popularity boost for bitcoin in the end.

I really like this idea which is to advertise bitcoin through television and radio stations. These can really boost up the popularity of bitcoin and other Altcoins. |

I don't see anything wrong about advertising Bitcoin on television. This will help the progress of accepting Bitcoin in the world or the government. Giving awareness to people about Bitcoin will be the key to understand and eventually accept it.
