I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
it's just a dream, let alone on television to promote a bitcoin ads, in some sites or apps have been banned, let alone social media, prohibit the bitcoin ads were present
If they advertised bitcoin on TV more people would know about it and then they would also like to buy it. What would happen is that because there would be more buyers than sellers the price would start going up more. There would also be less FUD because it would become more popular so overall it would be a good investment.

But I think media people will not let Bitcoin be advertised on televisions because they are the number one spreaders of FUD and fake news and they get a lot of profit by doing this kind of stuffs. It is better to educate people on the social media rather than advertising on television that we all know it will never happen and we all see that google and facebook are banning crypto ads on their platforms.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

TV can be good media to reach wide range of possible bitcoin users but running tv ads will cost so much and nobody want to pay those money from their pocket.

There will be no any incentive for the one who will pay for those ads. However I think we may see some tv ads in near future from bitcoin related local services in few countries to promote their services.

Absolutely, since bitcoin is open source, no one in particular is going to make any profit  promoting bitcoin through TV ads solely as a currency. The legality of bitcoins is an issue, in most countries bitcoins has not been declared illegal, but still they have not accepted it as a legal currency. Might be due to this even the most die hard bitcoin enthusiast with some spare bitcoins would think twice before going forward with bitcoin as a currency TV commercial idea.

But, promoting bitcoin as means of a payment system through TV ads for services is safe. For example this Bitpay ad, https://youtu.be/Rm7wgmwKiAk

Bitcoin even made a special appearance in Deadpool. So bitcoin is catching up.

I think bitcoin doesn't need to be advertised in the first place. Just like what he/she said, it not even legal in most of the countries. The first step that could promote bitcoin is the legality in countries.

Advertising bitcoin on t.v.can lead to reach the world immediately and only the popular person have the income. The more it shows up on tv the more people from different place will grab bitcoin. If that will happen the unfortunate person who wants to participate on bitcoin will hardly can for more rich people will lead this system. No more big chances to unfortunate.

Advertising bitcoin in television will be a great idea and great impact as well and for sure most of the people will buy bitcoin and use it as online currency but if only the country really supports bitcoin it will become possible unfortunately most of countries ban bitcoin and some allow but some don't support . But if we advertise bitcoin on television it will made big volume for sure and price will surely rise almost everyday and if all people will sue bitcoin as payment many people will become rich

i advertise bitcoins on T.V. We can ask a company who makes advertisements for other local businesses to give ads of bitcoins. Because we all know that TV is the most common appliance in a house. So tv is the best

It seems to me that Bitcoin does not need advertising. He is constantly shown on TV. It is necessary to do something different.

bitcoin isn't a commercial product, as it isn't a propriety thing, instead this is an open sourced. however advertising bitcoins in TV IMO is not the most efficient option to promote bitcoin; online advertising is better. as well, bitcoin is nothing backed as everyone know, it is subject to the rise and down. it is just as same as promoting a new investing product.

It is a good idea that bitcoin will be advertise in televisions because in t.v it has a big chances that bitcoin will be popular. Many people are using televisions to gain some knowledge and use. But it is a risk especially when the bitcoin is not legal. Also if bitcoin will advertise in televisions many people will get curious and will learn about it. If there's a ;ot of people are involved it is possible that bitcoin price will rise.

some private tv stations could actually advertise bitcoin only if it is legal in that country, else maybe a special license should be gotten for such. but if bitcoin is legalized, then i see no issue or challenge in advertising via tv, for it will bring in more investors to flood the market. Publicity is the best way to create awareness.

Who's going to promote Bitcoin in TVs? What's his profit?

Which products or services will offer this kind of payment method on television? Does anyone dare do it ?. This is a good act for bitcoin to advertise in public, I think this is a good idea. We hope someone will start for this one

I think it's a Good Idea, but making ads on television does not cost a lot. while we know today, a lot of ordinary people there is even a major country in the Asian continent that forbids its people to play Bitcoin. can they receive Bitcoin after advertising on TV ?! but I think personally, Bitcoin ads on television are good.

I think advertising in social media is the most effective one here. Like not all the people are watching televisions unlike in social media 24/7 they are browsing and browsing and I doubt they can't see bitcoin in their news feed.

That is a good idea. I have not seen any bitcoin advertisement before, and I think it would be nice if there were any.
I'm sure there will be many people who know about bitcoin, and its popularity will increase.
Who knows maybe the government will look at it and take an interest in bitcoin and legalize it Smiley

It can be said that many of the ads have been done on the web or where there are many participants, on facebook or youtube contains many ads on Bitcoin and other virtual currency, besides many countries Bitcoin, is banned, but ads still appear on television.

There's no need to promote bitcoin, bitcoin has a big name in the digital world already. You can see everywhere that bitcoin is so popular, like in those restaurant that offer foods in exchange for bitcoin, or those investors that invest here and also the users that keeps on increasing in number. Bitcoin is a already popular in the society.

Currently more and more media to social media banned ads bitcoin and cryptocurrency, there are at least 3 major social media banned bitcoin ie Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the largest internet advertising program that is Google. This certainly makes us have to advertise on TV to tell the truth about bitcoin.
