What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

Bitcoin doesn't need any advertisement on media like tv and radio. Most of the people have been used the internet so they are allowed to see this. Bitcoin can see in advertisement via the internet. Companies should advertise their products and the one payment method is through Bitcoin. Bitcoin popularity is on its own.  

Also bitcoin offers so many advantages that people will begin to adopt it organically, it is the same process we are seeing in japan with so many businesses accepting bitcoin on their own, no one is forcing them they are accepting bitcoin because it makes sense for them to do so and when more people begin to understand that fact then the growth of adoption is going to raise exponentially.

TV can be good media to reach wide range of possible bitcoin users but running tv ads will cost so much and nobody want to pay those money from their pocket.

There will be no any incentive for the one who will pay for those ads. However I think we may see some tv ads in near future from bitcoin related local services in few countries to promote their services.

I also consider television as a good source of information and idea. And if media as a form of broadcast will likely to advertise Bitcoin for people to used it as a mode of transaction it can result for a good thing on Bitcoin because it may increase the peole who will support Bitcoin and used it as form of daily transaction. And we all know that Bitcoin price is much aligned to the principle of law of price and demand where in the increase of its community is a vital thing for its development.

Agree television is one of the oldest place where you can advertise a product or something so if bitcoin will be advertised via television then plenty of people will be able to watch it and your idea on how to advertise it is really good using bitcoins functionality as a mode of transaction will attract many people specially those who sends money from different part of the world.

yes if only we will advertize it , they cannot know and understand it well, much better to conduct a seminar or training that will be related on it, in that case they will know it well and understand it too. and we can learn more things too, those things that we are not yet know. it is good than advertising on tv , few people can only understand it.

I hope with ads on tv everyone will understand what is bitcoin. So people will increasingly know that pa bitcoin and will be good for bitcoin.

Advertising bitcoin in some countries is possible but most of the countries no one wants to pay for the advertisement. They don't want to use their own money for it. Yes it will be a great help increasing the population of the bitcoin users but I guess as the time goes by there will be more and more people willing to learn about bitcoin.

Advertising on tv is for the things that are used by the people like foods, gadgets, appliances etc. But I never seen any money that are advertised from tv. If you want to make bitcoin popular you need to conduct a seminars, like business if you want to offer a business you need to conduct some seminars. Bitcoin is money and it is much valuable than the things they advertised on tv.

I think if bitcoin is advertised on TV then it will be the fastest way to get people to come to Bitcoin, communication will be an easy way for people to learn and know bitcoin more.

Yeah, I also think that advertising is the best way so that people will know about bitcoin, so they will get interested into it. Bitcoin will not going to be our currency if other people doesn't know bitcoin, there are still a lot of people that doesn't know about bitcoin.

This was tried with the bitcoin bowl, but people still dont really understand exactly what bitcoin is and it is extremely hard to show on a short advertisement. Our best bet is to put that money into other methods which would most likely be better at bringing more people in and showing them how it works.

I think that will only cost a lot of money, and bitcoin community would probably not going to spend that much money just advetise it. And it is an open source community, which means no one really controlled it, we the holders are the once who controlled our own coins. But TV is a great source of advertisement though. But I know internet will do, just a simple plug and popularity is just a simple thing.

Media is already giving coverage to bitcoin they discuss about bitcoin in their shows in my country India some channels already showing in their prime time how bitcoin is getting popular in the world day by day, they insist its the right time to invest in bitcoin & we should also promote crypto currency as it is giving good return as of now. But alone you can not promote on TV because TV ads are not cheap & If we promote Btc on TV definitely it will help to increase more Btc users worldwide & will be more awareness towards Btc.

I personally don't think tv is the right medium to advertise bitcoin. We all know regular cable tv is dying and with TV advertising you can also mess up the message that you're trying to send (especially since bitcoin is community driven). If we were to advertise it like a company or a product it would remove the whole essence of bitcoin. I much rather would like to see community based efforts, such as the now famous "Buy Bitcoin" sign or wearing bitcoin themed merch. Something that would stimulate people to do research and get excited. I'm planning on buying bitcoin socks myself and I'm very keen on starting projects to spread the adoption of bitcoin.

That money could be better spent elsewhere. And anyway, how are you going to explain the entire technology behind Bitcoin in just 30 or 60 seconds? Also the advertisement slots are extremely expensive nowadays. I have a feeling that it will be better to take out awareness campaigns in various colleges and universities. Online advertising is a cheap and cost effective way of Bitcoin advt rather than going back to traditional way of advertising on TV which is a lot more expensive

Who will take the bull by the horne or who will pay for the advert since the cost of running the advert on TV and Radio is too high, am of the believe that each and everyone us can make it happen. Some people here are owners of business enterprise. Do you accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment in your business or shop? Am currently planning to set up a clothing business which i will accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. If everyone of us can do the same in the next one year bitcoin will be accepted almost every where by everybody.

To advertise the bitcoin in TV, it should be legal in that concern country. Then it should be popular or make it as popular via TV itself to advertise about it.

It a good idea to advertise the bitcoin in t.v. It will encourage a lot of people, they will become interested because bitcoin can gives a lot of money and very helpful to solve our problem. In this way, even the older user of bitcoin they can get another idea on bitcoin. Bitcoin is so very wide, it has many uses and way to earn, if they advertise on tv, it will become easy to other. Additionally, in this way it will become legalise around the world.
