What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

Everybody will know bitcoin in few years. Cryptocurrencies/Blockchain will disrupt all the current economic model. Just : Invest & Wait & See & Sell

There is already a lot of exposure from tv series mentioning bitcoin. And if there will be an ad, the most suitable ones are ads promoting business and not just bitcoin alone. If it is just bitcoin, who would pay the bill? Unless OP is willing to pay the bill to make an ad for bitcoin.

Using the television broadcasting is a wise choice in order to increase public awareness about bitcoin. Many people can watch TV even they cannot afford to buy one. However, if this is to be done, who will fund the TV ads? ROI would seem blurry. Maybe shops may advertise their shop and state that they accepts BTC as a mode of payment but some folks will not care about the BTC portion since they do not know what it is.

This will become a reality of someone volunteered to do the advertising without expecting any return directly. On the contrary, this may also have a return for that someone who volunteered and that is seeing his current BTC in possession rose up in value.

I don't think the main problem is the peoples unawareness anymore, people already have heard about it a lot but they just don't have perfect or sufficient knowledge about the system itself. that means they are the core mine users , they have a high potential and might be possible there skills and experience about something can help us even more on the development. I think yes tv advertisement should be there at least I can show my parents that I was not lying. And such things do really exist

I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

That is a more established way of advertising and if that way for advertising bitcoin is adopted then all the people of the world will know about this currency and they all will then adopt bitcoin and they all will invest their money in bitcoin and then the demand of it will increase to a highest level and so the price of bitcoin will also increase to a highest level.

From the way I see it, I think its going to happen sooner or later but its a gradual process. Where I stay, I have seen it being advertised on forums and one that involve large number of people at the same time, I have seen banners in front of shops at the same time I have seen small banners hanged around poles of a community promoting crypto-currency so in few years, I see that happening eventually.

I think its much better for bitcoin to be advertise on-line rather than in T.V. Online can reach far more than T.V. What I'm looking is that bitcoin should be in the mainstream TV media like CNN, BBC and other giant in the media industry rather than having someone putting a ads in TV. I remember Facebook, its still Friendster who is well known, but I saw Facebook in CNN and I just curious about it and created an account.

But I do see visa and master card service are getting promoted through tv advertisements and why not another payment processor, bitcoin systems ? But who will be taking steps for it, bitcoin foundation ?

I guess promoting bitcoin related services will be more than enough and till date I am not finding any advertisement claiming they are accepting bitcoin payments in televisions. If we want some heavy promotions for bitcoins, we must take steps to convince amazon to start accepting bitcoin payments. I believe that will work in promoting bitcoin way and in more effective way too.

Theoretically, doing a TV advertisement about BTC should be good for publicity. The only problem that I'm seeing with it is that TV advertisements cost so much and who will pay for that? Also, I think, it would only provide additional confusion to the regular mass because a TV advertisement will not provide full explanation/details of what BTC really is. They will just see this as a somewhat "scam" thing being advertised in their television.

in internet in some websites,some ICo made some advertisements,there were time wile browsing for some research ,there were some pop outs of bitcoin projects and ICO's those tech savvy and into earning may get interested.

I think TV is being displaced by online media. I do not think it is so beneficial to promote the usage of bitcoin through massive campaigns because the best way to boost it is through its continuous use in our daily transactions, and improvings its features to make it more convenient for eveyone than fiat money.

i was choose bitcoin as my payment method unlike before i was use both paypal and bitcoin but right now less paypal to use these days..
Because the company where i am working are paying in bitcoin so a convert into bitcoin payment.. is an advertising company so bitcoin has possibility that can be commercial on T.V. for a good purposes.

If we advertise bitcoin on T.V then it will be big step up for bitcoin to be notice by almost all the people around the world because television is every where and almost of the people watch tv so if we advertise bitcoin with a good explanation then it is a common sense that bitcoin will be big and it will pump so high and it will become an instant famous currency.

The question is who is going to be the sponsor that is willing to fund that advertisement in a nationwide coverage of television?

For me, it's better if the advertisement will be made through internet as people puts a lot of time surfing the net.

But with TV advertisement for bitcoin, it can still raise awareness.

It really is too late. Roger Ver became rich because of buying coins when they were dust. Now that BTC is reaching new all time high levels ads on TV would be unlikely to benefit BTC much in terms of speculative value. But back in the day, ads on the radio were kinda helpful for people like Ver to become rich.

They have already stated about who will sponsor or if it may then it will give a good boost in popularity but I think that in this moment people, mostly, aren't open minded about this and also Bitcoin still can't be used in their daily transactions and they can pay their bills through online banking. You know since people, mostly, aren't open minded regarding this matter then TV advertisement I believe wouldn't suffice the complexity of Bitcoin or so as it seems. The point is most people don't have a background in this field. Maybe after the young generations we have today would replace the adults we have known today which this new ones are open minded in technology then that would be a great time to showcase Bitcoin.
