The price is headed lower. It is not some limited ICO , the first window anyone could contribute ended below 1$, why would anyone pay 4$ for it now ? It doesn't make sense. The ICO price has been higher than the exchange price for 2 days now. It's going back below 2$ and I am not saying this because I hate EOS, I invested over 20 ETH and have sold, waiting to buy back in
Do you wait for a better window to enter? I also think to wait some weeks until the price will go below 1$, maybe if it happen... Yes also waiting for a BUY Window. I think under 2 $ is realistic, under 1 $ awesome. But it will drop under 2 $ in the next weeks then I buy again. This project has some value which it is bringing to the table. This project right now has ONLY speculative value, backed in greed so far. Maybe we will see something in the future, just maybe

I think it's a clever ico structure, designed to channel funds, that would otherwise be trading on exchanges, into the accounts of the project creators.
Ultimately there are just developing software that a third party may or may not launch a platform on.
If people keep sending them ETH during the year, then you can imagine future icos may follow their lead. But the price could plummet if people lose interest over the year. The price relies on more people contributing to the ico every day. And at a price they have no idea of until the end of each 23 hour period.
Oh yes, this was truly brilliant, from the developers. It was so nice to see how they said this was fair and made them look like the good guys. But think about it right? What is this money for? Why the year long drive? It's pretty plain to see that this is driven by money. But who knows maybe this means people can go in at cheaper times and change the way people rush for ICO.

Why EOS hitted exchanges while ICO is ongoing?
The ICO was only the first day, the ongoing sale is going to last for over 340 more days and no one wants to wait a year to trade the coins they bought. this is not true, you get your tokens every day after every round ends

Could someone help me out obtaining the EOS tokens? I went to their portal, using metamask. I generated an EOS key. Saved the public and private key and registered by transferring 0 ETH with metamask. The next step would be to transfer ETH in order to buy EOS tokens. But it states "No public key registered". When i try to transfer funds it doesn't do anything. Help would be greatly appreciated

Your next action should be a fucking cold shower or a slap on the face as you are still dreaming and need to get your feet to the ground. There is no free money, for you to win someone else needs to lose, this is how ponzi schemes works, this is how pyramid schemes work, this is how fucking ICO's work! Do yourself a favor and don't get embarrassed for being stupid enough to get your money "invested" in this scam, if you truly plan to invest in this shitcoin, if not and you are somehow affiliated to this scamcoin, try harder, it is VERY FISHY and an OBVIOUS SCAM!

alot of hate out there however everything the haters post could also have been posted about ETH in 2014 still eth is up 100 000% and if EOS is the next ethereum it is well worth the risk...and the market cap is naturally much greater early on, because eth serves as an example and causes FOMO... EOS total number is 10x higher than ETH; so if EOS is the next ETH, it would be worth around 20-40$ if it is a scam it is worth 0, but I doubt that the creators can run away with so much money - they would have no place to hide....

In 2014, you couldn't post that ETH is making a BILLION tokens and fleecing hundreds of millions of dollars from poor people on the Internet hoping to get rich quick since they missed Ether.

So what's your forecast for EOS today? I'm thinking about buying now it's cheaper, but I don't like the tendency at all.
The current price puts EOS market cap at over 2.5bil without any working prototype or proof of concept. It's already double the market cap of DASH only after being in the market for like a few days? IMO, definitely overvalued right now. If EOS is able to raise 20K in ETH per day for the remainder of the periods, they will end with $2.3b in cash based on a $300 ETH price. I would call that margin of safety. At the end of this year long ICO there will be 900m tokens outstanding, 1b if we count the fully diluted tokens. So at $3 per token, yes the market cap is $3b, but the enterprise value is $700m. Who knows if they will deliver anything. But what appears to have been perfected is a cash generation machine that may be nothing more than a sophisticated modern day ponzi. Who knows? It may also be a conduit to make an incredible amount of money as a participant if this thing gains escape velocity and becomes self-sustaining.

People are measuring how much they invest to have enough for the year long ico or it's more about a couple of gambles?

I forsee the daily closing price to keep dropping daily and may even see some real low numbers on sombre bearish days of which there's no shortage.

While there are plenty long term focused - I think a good amount were buying based on hype and going for a quick pop. That usually leads to drop after.

So after the short climb it looks like EOS is heading back down to ICO price. And the ETHs are all taken out somewhere to be dumped. And recycled to get more EOS. This is an incredibly genius move. Why didn't we think of it earlier?
