There are quite a few meetups happening in cities across the globe. Spreading the word about EOS, something about grassroots and crypto that make me wanna smile

If Eos 550d can pull off countless dealings per 2nd, then Eos 550d should be the best coin.  Nevertheless, they've by no means described how they will pull this off.Has Eos 550d launched any software program yet?

I feel like jordan peterson is a fascinating guy, regardless of whether one is ideologically aligned with him or not.

Why does it matter if you are in the snapshot if eos contribution? Is it better to be or does it not matter?

How your EOS Tokens move from Ethereum to the EOS blockchain

A lot of people got confused by the EOS token crowdsale. It’s especially parts like this that make people scratch the back of their heads…

EOS TOKENS HAVE NO RIGHTS, USES OR ATTRIBUTES. The EOS Tokens do not have any rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features, express or implied, including, without limitation, any uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features on the EOS Platform. Company does not guarantee and is not representing in any way to Buyer that the EOS Tokens have any rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features.

Feel free to read the whole license agreement on the EOS website if you want to learn more. And just to be clear: This blogpost is not an investment advice but only a way to express my personal views on the EOS Tokens.

does all accumulated EOS tokens in a registered wallet have a claim to the new blockchain or just the ones purchased through the contract address?

all.

Note: once you register an eth address to an eos address once, you don't have to do it again if you add more erc-20 tokens to the eth address.

Why does it matter if you are in the snapshot if eos contribution? Is it better to be or does it not matter?

Any blockchain that honors the genesis block, will award you native eos tokens on a 1:1 basis with the EOS ERC-20 tokens you hold. The snapshot is what enables this to happen. As a result, you need to register your ETH address (that holds your EOS ERC-20 tokens) with an EOS key that you generate so that you can claim your native EOS tokens when the blockchain launches.

It's a gamble, most particular. But the devleoper, Serta Larimer's tasks (Bitshares, Steem) convey more dealings than ALL other cryptos combined, and thus I have gambled on Eos 550d a bit.

No, the Block Producers (Miners) have their own nodes which they run to gather and calculate all the transactions and smart contracts. Think of big nodes with quite some ram memory and a 100 cores. Also a lot of storage because this blockchains can grow with several mb's per second (!!).

So what you can do is run a server or system to connect to those Block Producers using an API. Just like Steemit: the website serves the users. But at the same time the webserver is connected to to the blockchain.

IMO, ICOs that last over 1 year are just a new way of doing an ICO and should be only replicated by companies that are agile and can show continuous development updates. However, financing a company purely from ICO money is something that eventually could be disastrous for the business if the business model has not been tested without any money.

I've been watching the last round and it was scary because nether eosscan.io nor eos.io/distribution/ showed correct amount of contributed ETH
so I was "blind" and did not participate

is there other way to check current contribution?

Question, does anyone know if performance testing will be done before mainnet launch to make sure it will perform as expected? Or will performance be optimized over time (ie after production launch)?

it'll likely occur as part of the multi-node public testnet that will launch in december.
