New Flappy homepage

https://sites.google.com/view/flappycoin

YES it is a FREE google site.
It will be up regardless if someone is able to pay for it.
It is also very easy to grant permissions to update the site.
This means as members of the DEV team evolve it will be easy
for anyone to step up and help out.

Free or not, the content is what matters the most. I have seen many good web sites, with fancy design but nothing really to say. So keep up, I been following flappy coins for a while now and surely that won't change now.

Nice to see Smiley Should be interesting to see how this develops as I imagine there is a lot of coins lost / burned with a coin that has lay dormant for so long. Good work fellas!

we feel that way too the old school members of the community remember flappy well.To your point of burnt coins we all agree. The nice part about the way this has been done is if you have your old dat you can move your coins again . there is slight concern over what pos coins from the broken chain will do at block 700000 but ill be putting in a checkpoint for 699999 its very likely anyone with an old dat will have to move there coins to a new dat file or at very least a new address when this is all said and done . but i have found a workaround for pissy inputs . ill be sure to put it in the info on the site

Waiting for more information

The main cpp is coded 10% Pos coming down 1% every year
POW is 50 coins + transaction fees
mining 800 blocks now till POS starts
We have 2.5 billion coins from the cryptsy wallet to
give back out to the community
node paid for with flap
How is the team ready to develop this project?

How is the team ready to develop this project?
[/quote]

Our absolute first concern is to return a moving chain to the community
Followed buy the dispersement of the 2.5 biilion coins
as well as any coins those coins might stake before
they are all handed out .

Ive spoken briefly to the posw wallet guys about parking the coin there
they offer a lot as far as nodes and a market

Findblocks has offered to host a pool Ive also contacted Hash2Coins
about returning flap to there pool

The code is pretty old ive not ruled out the possibility of a swap around block 800000
possibly later  but not at an exchange

the swap would be on its own page with a single market 1 to 1 swap

This only being if upgrading the code any further becomes an issue

Bounties will be coming up soon if all goes as planned for the normal things
explorers faucets ect

Lets be really the flappy game is old and this coin really has no ties to it anymore
that being said games have come along way it would be nice for someone to make
a new game my kids wont make fun of me for playing

This is really one of the coins that belongs to everyone what the community wants to
do with it if anything is fine by us . personally i think 10% pos this year with so many coins possibly
burned has enough going on by itself atm my vote is to be added to posw
but its really up to the consensus of the community cryptopia might be nice too
but im not dishing out 2 bitcoins to make that happen
I personally think some exchanges should pick it up for free being the
situation as it is

My role is to keep the coin alive and the chain moving
and to try and make the changes that are needed to make
sure flappy is autonomous so it works forever as long as
two wallets are open in the world somewhere

pool spitting out orphans at block 699999 waiting on the pool/node operator to get home . i do see they had a hard time getting over this block originally or i may need to generate the first pos block manually. teams pretty active id say we should be at least moving ahead with a fix tonight

Being this is a community coin everyone input is more then welcome .
the fist pos block is being problematic

it might be something as simple as making sure gen is turned on in the node
or we may need to re checkpoint the coin giving it a hash for the first pos block
you all will know as soon as i do

atm still hashing the block i see references to the block having a hard
time first mine around

there are a few options if all that fails
one is someone just gave me a copy of the block chain slightly past pos starting

im just going to sit tight a few hrs till i hear back what the debug log says at the node

if this is going to be a huge problem we will move forward 50000 blocks
continuing pos only while we decide what to do

Point is were not dipping out like devs before the flap is 100% back

so it would seems there was some fishiness going on with the pos .. it was done in a way that killed pow if you still had that wallet and so that only new transactions would gain stakes .... trying out patches now please turn off your wallets while we update
