who can help me getting into Sumokoin official mining pool.
I've downloaded ccminer for nvidia. Do is sync to the blockchain first? How does it work?
I am not sure which Info you are missing so just the quick overview:
Preparation:
- Download(or build from github) one of the newer miners if your Gaphics card is 7, 8 , 9 or 10th Gen
e.g. "ccminer-2.0-release-x64-cuda-8.0" older Version could work better with older Cards
- Install cuda, for this ccminer Version use latest Version 8
- Download the binaries from the first page of this thread under "Downloads & Links" (to later sync your wallet)
You can already create a wallet with the "Wallet Generator" see also first page of this thread.
Make sure you safe all Information displayed with the wallet.(additionally on an USB Stick, 2nd computer, print it whatever etc.)
You can later start the deamon and sync your wallet with the "sumokoind.exe" and the "sumo-wallet-cli.exe"
Create a batch file or execute on command line:
ccminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.sumokoin.com:3333 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p x
In my case it looks like this
ccminer-x64 -a cryptonight --url stratum+tcp://sumo.ms-pool.net.ua:3344 -u Sumoo-your-created-adress -p x
You can experiment with bfactor, 11 is default, with 9 the PC will get fairly unusable, launch config can improve your hash rate so play around.
Older Cards can mostly only use SMX count
e.g. GTX960 has only 8SMX so 8x?? where ?? depends on your RAM size available
With 1050Ti you can use multiples of SMX. E.g. 25x45 (for 4GB Version)
Overclock only if you don't have to pay the electric bill^^
My 4x750Ti 1KH Rig has only 90W meassured on the AC Power Inlet already without modding the Bios.
ccminer-x64 -a cryptonight --bfactor=11 --launch-config 6x45 --url stratum+tcp://sumo.ms-pool.net.ua:3344 -u SumooYOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p x
Sadly I need too sleep, I deleted the post once because I misread that you wanted to create a pool
So no posting links or where to find the stuff but I found everything with google regarding ccminer and the rest in this Thread.
