Damn, hash rate on the official pool is only around 40Kh/s and sumo.ms-pool.net is over 1.7Mh/s - is that gonna cause any issues with the HF?

I don't know. What we much worry about is the block reorganization and high hashrate may cause it.

Hardfork, if working as designed, will just increase network difficulty to the true hashrate in a few blocks. It, by no means, can reduce the actual hashrate but you can hardly get much benefit to mine with too high hashrate.

LOL  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy You have half a day remaining to learn and go do this. After a couple of hundred blocks you can rent all the hashing power of nicehash you want, it is going to be unprofitable (hopefully.....)

(Edit : unless you want to mine and keep of course...)

Sumoshi, billaue and Haruto Tanno are the devs, all with great programming skills and dedication to the project. Direct any inquiries to them

That's a good sign. There are no f**king advisors who are in 31 projects and never advise anything, no f**king devs who have nice photos but are unable to write a single code line

Thanks a lot for tutorials. We'll post them to Sumokoin's Facebook and Twitter.

In this post: https://www.sumokoin.info/synchronize-sumokoin-blockchain-synchronization/

There are link to old binaries. Because we will frequently have updates, you'd better to link to Github release page:

https://github.com/sumoprojects/sumokoin/releases

Thank you.

The hashrate on https://pool.sumokoin.com is still showing ~36KH/s but that can't be right... right?

That would mean the pool earns less than 500sumo a day but if you look at today's pool payouts they have distributed more than 4000sumo - how is that possible?

Mostly because of slow immaturity of block I think

You just missed the coin party. Today, hashrate got low for very long time and everyone put high hashrate to mine. That's a compensation for a week long with no coins mined

1) Pool pay out is at least 60 blocks behind, just check the Pool Blocks Tab.
There you also see the total blocks mined: 10349 and blocks overall mined 21023 vs 20252 in about 24h
You can count them compare them to difficulty etc. Looks pretty okay to me.

2) On the main page you can look at the last hash rate spikes with up to 1M4 h/s and compare them with the times, voila, you get a lot of sumo alone in the last 14h

3) I got with 4-10Kh/s only a little bit more than 100 sumo since hardfork so 24h,

But since sumo.ms-pool was told to change the nicehash difficulty to 50k I get about nothing, 15% of 1 block possibly Tongue
Nicehash does only count as 1 Miner connected just mentioning it for rmac
