Not sure if this was suggested before but I think its hard to do any technical analysis on charts for different coins.

Going to bitcoinwisdom I noticed there's multiple charts for a single coin, each chart belonging to a certain exchange.

Wouldn't TA on charts be inaccurate? I mean if one coin is on 3 exchanges: mintpal, bittrex, and cryptsy where mintpal has lets say 500 btc in daily volume, bittrex has 200 btc and cryptsy 250 btc daily volume. Which chart would be the perferred to use when doing TA? Most of us would use mintpal being that it has the largest volume but what about bittrex and cryptsy?

Basing your analysis on just one exchange isn't going to be that accurate as we're not taking into consideration the other 2 exchanges that have considerable amount of volume.

So my suggestion would be instead of having a chart from each exchange for a single coin is to have one chart that includes all major exchanges (volume wise). The price would be an average between all major exchanges and a chart would be drawn based on the average rate. Analyzing the new chart would be much more efficient in providing much more accurate analysis.

Something similar to how preev.com shows us the rate of btc in usd where the price is an average between major exchanges.

Not sure if this would help but wouldn't save server resources? Instead of having 300 charts for 100 coins on 3 exchanges you would have 100 charts instead.

What do you guys think?

Hey

Can you please add #IOC @I/OCoin to your charting software. Its currently traded on Bittrex and Cryptsy (more volume on Bittrex) so if you could add the bittrex pair its best as its the most representative of the current volume/price.

Many thanks

Hello!

Will you be so kind to add Bytecoin (BCN) to BitcoinWisdom? It's traded on Poloniex and HitBTC.

Thanks in advance,
David

Historical mtgox data on the weekly time scale is broken. Probably a bug, no?
Thank you for reporting the issue. The bug is fixed.

@BitcoinWisdom

As others have stated in this thread, your custom HTML5/Javascript charts are beautiful! They are the best charts I've seen in HTML5/Javascript. Congratulations!

Would you consider making the source code for these charts available under the MIT license via github? The open source community would welcome you!

If not, would you consider making the code available under a restrictive commercial license? I believe you could have many customers. There are many possible uses of these charts in other areas!

What do you think?

Sincerely,
blue

How come buys are listed as sells sometimes? Also vice versa?

The 228 sell at $590 in this image for example (https://i.imgur.com/ba9xyof.png) was actually a 228 buy at $590.

Have you ever thought about a trending charts feature? Showing which chart is currently being watched the most.

It would be REALLY nice if you can store the current technical analysis set up in a LINK (just like tradingview).
This is usefull for the user and will also help the site to be more shared VIRAL  !

I think Bytecoin would be a gread addition to the list of coins presened on your site.
It also just got a major update which is significant for the whole crypto-world.
Please, consider adding it.
