Hm, something looks a bit weird about the new line chart with median price:

a) how do you calculate median price? it should be high+low/2, but it looks as if it is maybe "typical price" which is high+low+close/3.

b) the red/green area below/above the line should mark the lowest/highest price of the period, right?

Like I said, something looks a bit strange to me, either a) or b) (or both) are different that how I think they should be.
I'm sorry, I made a mistake, the median price algorithm was incorrect, now the bug has been fixed.

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but... not sure if it's fixed. It took 2 screenshots to show what I mean:

First, the green/red area seems to be correct, it corresponds exactly to the highest/lowest part of the candles.

But the median price itself still isn't right: In the first pic, time: 2013-10-17, 3:00. Based on the candle data, the median is 137.25. Second pic, the median as displayed by the line is 138.63.

By the way, I reloaded the page/got rid of cache to make sure I got the updated version of your website.

Not sure which Bitcoin wallet you should use? Get Electrum!
Electrum is an open-source lightweight client: fast, user friendly, and 100% secure.
Download the source or executables for Windows/OSX/Linux/Android from, and only from, the official Electrum homepage.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'm sorry I should express more clearly. you need open setting box and choose the Line Style from Close To Median Price.

Oh no, absolutely my fault! I didn't look at the settings window properly.

Awesome, everything works now. Only problem is, who in his right mind would sell right now Tongue

Instead of doing the pay to get rid of ads model, why not follow a more successful business model like freemium.  I for one can simply just delete the div that holds the ads, and since i leave the tab open i only need to do this once.   Where as, i WOULD pay for a premium membership if there was extra features, such as more chart analysis tools for example: Bollinger bands, Ribbon MAs, etc.
Thank you for advice. remove div or pay premium base on user's charactor, If the user dislike privacy or not. I have a lot of technology to detect the ad has been removed or not such as check canvas width, but I wouldn't do that. everything is base on consciously.
The premium features are still under developing, it would not be take long time.

Well that's not even the point really, what about people who use Ad-Block (a high percentage of bitcoin users most likely).  You could put something in the div underneath the ad that only people with ad block see.  But the best solution is really switching your business model. Pay-To-Remove-Ads is a failed business model that never really worked in the first place.  It's all about Freemium.

Send me a message when you add some special features to premium users and i will definitely buy an account.

Yes, about 40% ads are blocked. remove ad(look the chart in more widely) is one of premium features. The premium services is added in rush because of some users request it, you could look at #209 to #213 on this thread.

Thank you, when new premium features added, I will notify you.

Hey.

I think you should put back the donation address to your site... I don't want to sign up atm, but would like to make another transfer. For now, I'm using the address in your sig, right?

Yes, the donation address is in my sig. Thank you for your donation!
I'm afraid there is no more place in the footer, and the donation now should be rare case.  There is very few people as kindness as you are.

Would love to see btcchina.com here. Maybe even Justcoin.com (Norwegian site) but that is rather hopeful I guess.

hi, thx for the response , just as your comment came in BitcoinWisdom started loading again Cheesy so yea i suspect it probably was just dns problems for a couple of hours there.

Excellent work btw , what happened to the donations ? i really should make one as its become such an imperative part of my trading in btc (and other cryptos) , i could always go for the premium.

Anyhow , cheers for all the long hours spent on an excellent piece of work.

thx.

Cheers. Because of we start premium service, so the donation button is removed, you could still donate through the address on my sig. and I  recommand users become premium account for extra services, currently is only NoAds, and it will be more in future. We always appreciate any donation or purchase premium account and try our best to make the site even better.

Currently there is no monthly candlestick, I think we should have it and will add it these days.

We have met trouble on add monthly candlestick. first of all, the period is not fixed as daily or hourly. The second is 1m will be confused with 1 minute, so it will not be implemented in short time.

Easy solution at least for the second problem: 1m vs. 1M Cheesy

Amazing website! I really can't rave enough!
I have only one thing to ask...

Please make a new depth chart. No, I am begging. I would gladly replace the lower rsi/volume area with depth optionally.

The current way depth is displayed just drives me nuts; there is no metric. I find myself having to use bitcoinity for depth.
I would gladly start paying for premium if you would solve this one thing.

Thanks for all your hard work this far!!!

Thanks. I think the depth chart would not be long time, I'm going to focus on premium things next week. Full depth chart will be one of the premium features.
