Yeah, yeah We get it, you bought in too late at the recent bump, got nervous at the dump and sold with losses because you were not cool enough. Now you are mad. Sucks to be you. It was your fault and nobody elses.

Couldn't have said it better without... myself

"The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling."  Satoshi Nakamoto, April 2009          Avoiding taxes is totally legal if you consider and respect the law.

I have already sold most of my XRP too when it was high for XLM. Tongue
Big corporations that adopts Ripple's network do not necessarily have to adopt XRP, and most chooses not to. Ripple may be promising for the banking industry, but I do not believe in XRP. I am only holding some, since it has speculative value, and that is about it. There are still a lot of unjustified hype around XRP.

I'd rather stick with XLM. It is very similar to XRP in its technology, but is substantially decentralised (and will become increasingly so as adoption by small businesses and individuals increase).

A lot of things are already going in for this particular coin in terms of adoption, especially in South East Asia, and a big announcement is expected at the end of this month.

Its not as high as XRP in terms of price; but that has all to do with speculation/trading/gambling within the crypto market and marketing. A lot of other quality crypto-projects with much better technology such as OMG/Waves are not getting as much attention neither.

Incidentally, i haven't liked Ripple or XRP.
Once i know that they are managed by a bankster, I'm no longer interested in this one coin, Ripple !!!. But for XRP I still think about it.

Over the past year, with the help of Ripple, I have earned a lot more than using bitcoin. Ripple has good support and the guys will work on his development. I do not consider this a fraud.

There's no denying the fact that xrp is having its time in the sun, but I just can't help but shudder at its future

This is a big plus in comparison with most other cryptocurrencies. I already made quite nice returns from Ripple.   My advice is anyone in crypto invest in a good cold wallet because when ripple decides to steal, r, I would not invest in it for a long-term perspective. Because of its complete centralization, he says that Ripple will be More Decentralized than Bitcoin. but I just can't help but shudder at its future.

Thank you for your sage advice but having done my own research I have a different opinion to yours. Ripple have a specific use case and to that end they will be succesful in what they are doing. Nobody putting their moey into crypto is expecting to own a part of the company if you want to do that then try the stock market instead.

May be this ops bought ripple during the recent price pump, because am earning good amount of bitcoin trading ripple. But if you are among those who invested during the recent price pump then I see the reason why you are complaining because it was actually pump and dump.

Ripple implements feature called "Balance Freeze" which allows gateways (nodes essentially) to freeze your funds, this "feature" to freeze million dollars.  My advice is anyone in crypto invest in a good cold wallet because when ripple decides to steal.. I mean "freeze" peoples money where do you think these fools, I mean investors are going to look to replace their losses?

if Ripple scam, why does the price keep rising and investor confidence getting higher? it is evident that Ripple is now positioned 2 (above Ethereum which has a high level of confidence) can you explain in more detail?

Bitconnect tells you something? I fully understand how bitcoin, ethereum, monero... work, but no matter how hard I try to collect info about the XRP mechanism I always end in meaningless and useless docs. I wouldn't invest one cent in projects like BCH or ETC even if I followed their evolution from the beginnnig. Let alone if I would invest in something that I don't understand. ONE Golden Rule: if you can't understand something it means someone has made you can't understand it on purpose. Stay away from it.

I am not a big fan of XRP but still it is the second coin on the market, backed by financial institutions. I do not understand from where your frustration is coming from, but these accusations as scam and fraud are not valid.

After this realization I had to give up on Ripple completely, I sold my shares and am out of Ripple, I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and I very likely may get screwed while they get successful. Open your eyes if you're investing in them.... you are investing in their XRP not Ripple as their employee quickly pointed out to me on twitter. Even regarding their block-chain technology big competitors are coming on the scene soon. The main point though is I need a company that will go down with me and rise with me not one that rises no matter what while I fund them and take all the risk. Why can a company I invest in be successful without me being successful as well, how is that even a possiblity!?! I'm out this is a complete scam and fraud it was obviously knowingly created that way.

DO NOT INVEST IN XRP

+1

XRP is a in-house shitcoin of Ripple Labs. It disgusts me how Ripple Labs is enriching themselves and creating a new centralized complex which is only waiting to be heavily abused. But I'm very confident to see people realizing that XRP and Ripple are shit and they are getting out quickly, selling XRP trash and are doing serious research about better options.

There are much more honest projects which are worthwile to support.  Smiley

This thread is funny to read. People mainly lose their minds in senseless discussions. Just take measured risk and move on!
