I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?
@Eternu, buy when there are dips in the price.. dont worry if you have bought when it is still at high price and you think it already in its low, just buy.. we havent yet reached the $2000 this year, and it is not to late. and maybe next years, that aim to reach $2000 will be tripled, quadruple or may ten times fold the price.. If you can hold it for a long term then you can buy at any price and even buying at current price is affordable as in long term price will surely rise so if you buy now and hold them for next couple of years then it will give you best results on your investments. |

@Eternu, buy when there are dips in the price.. dont worry if you have bought when it is still at high price and you think it already in its low, just buy.. we havent yet reached the $2000 this year, and it is not to late. and maybe next years, that aim to reach $2000 will be tripled, quadruple or may ten times fold the price.. I think we still at lower price of bitcoins in terms of buying. The reason i am saying this is that Bitcoin expected value in few years is 5K+ or even more so if you intend to buy now at less than 2000$, you will still be in profit in coming months. My suggestion is that if you have some surplus money invest them in Bitcoins and you will find yourself in profit very soon. |

I am trying to save a bit for long term but I also cash a little out every month for home expenses. Just do with Bitcoin like you would with your other currencies. Use what you need in the interim and try stash some in savings. It's not too late to buy Bitcoin, it will go up more and more eventually.
I also regard bitcoin as a long-term investment. And for me a good time to buy at a time when the price has become a bit lower. But I know that if I buy now, then in a few years I will become richer If you are a long term holder then you can buy them even now but I would suggest you to wait for some more days as price may fall in coming days and if it goes down then you can buy bitcoins at cheaper price which will also give you higher amount of bitcoins. Long term investment is really a good one, your suggestion is right and I think that everyone is doing that way, but as per me, sometimes I do short investments, even the increase is only $5k I withdraw it and wait again for a low price to buy again, I just wanted to invest my money wisely but long term is good enough than short term. |

It is a self explanatory question really but I am answering to help you. It is a good moment to buy if the price of bitcoin is 1000 dollars or less and it is a good moment to sell it if the price is 2000 dollars or more. You can make 100% net win from just trading it. I would advise you to not sell it and only buy when you have the chance even at a bit of more than 1000 dollars price and save it for the future. Many people here are saying it will rise in value.

With current happenings, I would prefer to invest in ALT rather than bitcoin but at the same time one needs to be careful but if you are looking longterm, then bitcoin is the surest way to go, the reason for that is because has gotten to a point where only major events can affects its price and this major events dont happen every time but with its own embedded risk too. But short term, alt with good potential is your best bet you can imagine. |

The price of bitcoins is too high at a moment so it won't be wise to invest in bitcons at this stage as anything can happen in coming days so its better not to buy them now and hold the coins that we already have and if you feel that price is good to make profits then you can sell some of them. |

what a smart move! I can guarantee that investing money in altcoins is better than Bitcoin right now because we can not know that whether the confirmation time can be fixed or not. No one want to wait for a long long time to receive money |

Buying bitcoin at the moment is more less like a gamble, you might might lose out or have a big fat cheque at the end of the day I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. You will first have to decide if you will have to go in on a short or long term investment and really dont think prices can surge to extreme levels for you to lose out on profit. what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year? too early to speculate, we have not even passed mid year but we should expect prices to go over 2500... |

what a smart move! I can guarantee that investing money in altcoins is better than Bitcoin right now because we can not know that whether the confirmation time can be fixed or not. No one want to wait for a long long time to receive money No one likes to wait longer to receive money but that issue can be easily solved if you are willing to pay higher transaction fees and if you do so then I don't think that you need to wait longer then 30 minutes to see money in your wallet. |

Yes this is a good idea to buy when the price drop and it can be very useful. It can be trusted because most of the people do that by buying at a price when they find a dip and then sale it at a higher price. I consider that right now it is the best time to buy it because the Bitcoin price according to the bitfinex is $1755 for those who are interested in buying it is good time while those have to wait a little who are selling it. |

When the price were on $500 after sitting for below $300 for almost months, some people says they will wait more for price decrease because the price was high, then price rose to $600+. Will wait again for decrease because it was still higher, then the price increase to $700. Will wait again for the dip because it was too high, then the price increase again to $800 and so on. And more numbers of "waiting for price decrease" happened last time price was go back at below $1,000. And look what we are now? See my main point here? As long as doubts will be dominant in your mind you can never make any strong decision. If you want to buy and afford to hold it for long while at the same time believes that bitcoin will increase it's price to your target price in the future then just do the buying and face the risk. |

to me although the price of bitcoin is trading above 1700 USD level but still i think bitcoin is trading in a low price, its price are stil expected to increase more and more in future and hope that very soon it is going to cross 3000 $.
What would be your ideal price  i did get into bitcoin when the price was around $700 and everything i made are just pure profits and so i would not complain even if the price of bitcoin goes down,i will make up my mind to gather a few .I like all the speculation about the price reaching astronomical figures and if the coin reaches those level i would sell of my alts and enter bitcoin once again.  |
