It depends on time you will sell your bitcoins. The only thing you will ask yourself before selling, is how big profit you want earn. As long as you will sell your coins more than its initial price then it is consider as profitable investment.

Bitcoin has touched $19600, it was the lifetime high of bitcoin currency till date. Many those who have not sold their coins and booked their profits have missed a good opportunity. It was certain that after continuous rise bitcon experts were expecting a correction. Exactly same happened and bitcoin prices slipped below $13000. Now those who think that the have lost the opportunity can sell their bitcoin at the end of this rally. Bitcoin1s next target is $40000.
Selling bitcoin is lost opportunity, I know that because I sold many bitcoins under 1000 dollars, I didn't do it because I wished that I needed money and that was decision made in that time. Now I think it would be better if I borrowed money and waited for this risw, bit who knew that bitcoin price will be on +10k after just 6 months. Now I think differently, I had chance to be really rich by now, but I'm not. Good for me in all that is that I believe I have second chance now, this is not the end, price will continue to rise and selling bitcoins is really lost opportunity, some of us knows that better then other's. Missing out golden opportunities here on bitcoin world is common because we are just humans we wont know on what would be the future and come to think off that there are really instances which we can really avoid to sell out those coins but theres nothing to regret as long we do use up those profits or money on some important things which is worth it unless if you did waste up those bitcoin on playing gambling then it wont really be worth it at all. You would really regret those days. |

Maybe selling bitcoin is a loss of opportunity but you can't blamed them. They sell due to there personal decisions and beliefs.
Nothing is so sure what will be the tomorrow for bitcoin it's a wiser decision to play safe. Don't be too greedy.

You are assuming that the price will continue to rise. That is not guaranteed, so selling is not necessarily lost opportunity.
Selling may be the way to maximize your return, but it depends on the risk of holding.
maybe in this week Bitcoin price is still stable, and true, there is no guarantee also Bitcoin price will rise or fall in the future. |

I agree with this statement. If you sell bitcoin at this time and wait for it to fall deep, then you probably will not be able to buy it in the near future because there is news that the bitcoin is about to pump over $ 20000 and will stabilize above that level. Well, actually depends, whenever bitcoin price is stable, some altcoins get pumped. Some people are just holding their bitcoin because they believe that bitcoin is the strongest currency. However, there are altcoins that are cheap and gets pumped a lot. We can sell our bitcoin temporarily and buy altcoins, because some altcoins are just for short trading. We can just buy back bitcoins after gaining some profit. I really think that is the smartest way to invest or trade. |

If you think converting bitcoin into fiat is the dumbest idea the selling bitcoin is a loss. But we must also see the reason behind why he sell his bitcoin, there must be a good reason why he do that.

yeah i kinda agree with your opinion, because your opportunities will loss if you sell them. but if you want to do a cutloss, it is fine. kinda hard to do a cutloss in this coin though. the best thing is hold until you need some cash to spent on.

With the ongoing price hike trend, it is very strange if people do not want to be patient and sell the bitcoin right now, they will regret that in a month the price will reach $ 25,000 and the end of the year will reach $ 100,000.

Its really up to the person on how they manage to sell their bitcoin. Each one of us have different ways how to handle things base on our strategy moves. Selling bitcoin is not actually an opportunity loss. In fact, if you were holding your bitcoin for almost a year now and you are trying to sell some part of your bitcoin its an opportunity already because i know in the first place you wont sell your bitcoin in a low price and then the bitcoin your holding for almost a year is already gain a lot of interest. Holding and selling bitcoin has a big advantage no matter what.
If we the price in august 2017, it was just 4000 dollars but at the middle of December it reached almost 19500 dollars. It means that the price grew about 15000 dollars and now it is again decreasing and today the price is about 15400 dollars. There is a huge variation in the price and that’s why many people afraid of investing in bitcoin. If the price remains constant for some time I am sure that investment ratio will grow more. |

Yes its true, because the value is unpredictable, There are so many instances that it pumps up and hardly falls down, Big regrets to my part when the price of btc is worth 4000$ and im handling about .6btc in my wallet. after 3 months it surge up to 14k, and my .6btc was already spend to my basic needs. If could turn back time, i must keep it...

We can't really say that selling bitcoin is a big loss since we have different way of thinking and different needs as well. For some maybe they find it as a loss foreseeing the bigger opportunity that it might increase in the coming days but to those who badly needs money, they will consider it as a blessing. We can't really say that selling bitcoin is a big loss since we have different way of thinking and different needs as well. For some maybe they find it as a loss foreseeing the bigger opportunity that it might increase in the coming days but to those who badly needs money, they will consider it as a blessing. Whatever it is, it depends on the person's strategy and necessity. Having bitcoin in your wallet is like holding an opportunity that might give you a lot of profit in the future, that is why we are advice to hold longer as the trend says that the value will rise overtime, however there are situation in life that we need to sell depending on our own purpose but we should always remember that we should not sell everything we have. If we have a chance to buy back then let's do it. |

I agree, if sell bitcoin and stop there. How can we get through this great opportunity and just keep quiet. I mean, we know that if you're good at strategizing in bitcoin trading, buying and selling bitcoins with the right time and keep going, that's best for me rather than quitting.

It depends on the purpose, sometimes even holding your bitcoin for too long can also be an opportunity loss. Some people sell their bitcoin temporarily to take advantage of altcoin price surge and buy back when altcoin pump is done. I really think it is the best way to manage your bitcoin if you really want to earn well. |

Indeed, many people sell their bitcoins and end up with less money to buy the equivalent due to bitcoin price increase in value. I see some traders can manage that because when they sell their bitcoins they normally invest the money in to altcoins and even when the bitcoin price gets higher they can still buy it because the value of altcoins too increases. |

At present its a good buying opportunity and keep holding for a longer term as the price is going to bounce back from 16 k and will reach 18k in coming months. We could easily be seeing again new highs in short time from bitcoin. So selling means losing on the big opportunity. All these doesn’t make sense. So what are you all insinuating? That we shouldn’t sell our Bitcoins? Funny. That you sold your Bitcoin doesn’t mean you’ve lost the opportunity… the thing here is all about making investment and withdrawing whenever you feel you have made enough profit, it’s not about putting money into Bitcoin and leaving it forever. |
