agreed, because by selling now it will lose the opportunity to gain profits and will miss because bitcoin prices will rise again this year

At present its a good buying opportunity and keep holding for a longer term as the price is going to bounce back from 16 k and will reach 18k in coming months. We could easily be seeing again new highs in short time from bitcoin. So selling means losing on the big opportunity.

All these doesn’t make sense. So what are you all insinuating? That we shouldn’t sell our Bitcoins? Funny. That you sold your Bitcoin doesn’t mean you’ve lost the opportunity… the thing here is all about making investment and withdrawing whenever you feel you have made enough profit, it’s not about putting money into Bitcoin and leaving it forever.
Exactly, we cannot just hold it forever as we never know if the it will continue to increase its value, there are no room for greedy people in investing as in the end they will all end up a loses. When we are investing bitcoin we should be professional, we work with our mind and not our emotion, hence a thorough analysis is very important to develop an investment plan and all we have to do is to implement it.

Selling bitcoin is indeed an opportunity loss if and only if you sell it in low exchange.  But if you sell it with a high exchange it could be said that it is an opportunity already. All of the people involve in bitcoin is to cautious in the price hike of bitcoin in market that's why they are too attentive to those opportunities to pass by.

Selling bitcoin is not losing opportunity, its a matter of needing something or necessity, its not a losing opportunity at all. What if there is a lot bigger opportunity in the real world and you will be needing a cash for it of course you will sell your bitcoin if ever you have not enough. We are just holding it because we expect bitcoin to increase and our money as well.

Selling btc is not an opportunity loss, the reason why you sell it is because you need money, for your necessities. Some things are more important than holding btc. You can wait and work for another months or weeks to earn btc. If you only think of its price, then you will just be disappointed everytime you realized you sell your btc.

For the time being, I am also against the selling out of Bitcoin, it would be very unfair with one own self. If you ask me, it is like depriving yourself from a ride to the moon. Bitcoin is expected to touch $25,000 40,000$ this year and I think most of investors are willing to test this prediction out. One thing that I am certain about is that the value might be a different one but Bitcoin will definitely grow.

BTC supply limited. It is not possible to increase or reduce the supply of BTC. So, with the increase or decrease in Bitcoin's demand, its prices are up and down. Because the supply is limited and the demand is high, I think Bitcoin has a bright future.

I agree, if sell bitcoin and stop there. How can we get through this great opportunity and just keep quiet. I mean, we know that if you're good at strategizing in bitcoin trading, buying and selling bitcoins with the right time and keep going, that's best for me rather than quitting.

Correct, opportunity comes and opportunity goes. When selling bitcoin and quit, then you will be seeing your freinds riding the excitement on tge waves of cryptocurrency. It is better to hold your bitcoin and sell when the price goes high and then buy when the price is low, in that case your opportunity is not wasted.

Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?

What you're saying is that swing trading on bitcoin is risky because you may never get a re-entry point. Seems like a sound point and I would be fully in agreement with it, it's why I feel that when swing trading you should always be comfortably within the range of prices that you expect will be hit, it greatly reduces the risk at the cost of reducing profit.

Big losses to those who sold their Bitcoin earlier than Jan 2017, they haven't experience the big wave which happen last year.

However, there is no right or wrong on their decision, they may sold their Bitcoin on the price they think was comfortable with them.

Possible that was the right time for them, and their goal was already reach.

We tend to lose the big wave but still there are lot of coming opportunities which is much bigger than we have experience right now, at the second quarter for sure bitcoin will rise again so do not let yourself regret again make sure that you will also experience it.

It is okay to sell bitcoins but only just the partial of it not the whole part or the whole funds of your bitcoins because bitcoins is the opportunity here we all know that. if we just sell it right away for sure we'd lost our opportunity as well.

It depends on the purpose, sometimes even holding your bitcoin for too long can also be an opportunity loss. Some people sell their bitcoin temporarily to take advantage of altcoin price surge and buy back when altcoin pump is done. I really think it is the best way to manage  your bitcoin if you really want to earn well.
Other alt coins are not giving more profit than bitcoin so just hold it as much as you can hold so that in future you will get huge benefit from bitcoin. Now people are holding because they have become technically sensible they know how crypto currency use to work and what will be beneficial holding or spending of bitcoin, good to hold be patient and grab the opportunity to be with bitcoin not to sell it till price reaches highest level.

You do really have a point. Maybe selling Bitcoin was really a terminal for exit for those who have already give up waiting and holding into it because they think that they are just like fooling themselves upon waiting for when is the time that prices will just be on the positive side. Also, maybe it is really in need to have a source of income for an instant manner and selling  their Bitcoin was the way they can see to resolve their problem about financial so maybe, selling Bitcoin can really make opportunity loss because you have already stopped holding into it.

For me, it is really a loss when the bitcoin is being sold in less amount. There are times that the price of BTC will eventually increase and you'll be sorry if your bitcoin is already sold. As time pass by, the amount of it is increasing.

In my opinion, BTC has not got a better development this year and its transaction costs are getting higher and higher and it is very likely that it will be replaced.

If somebody bought it before this dip, surely it is loss, and also I believe it will be a opportunity loss. But if you trade it for other altcoins rather than fiat, then I would say still it will be better option and open up a new opportunity. But staying with Bitcoin might reward you better, as big whales are just waiting to jump over it on the right time.

really gan let alone with bitcoin supply that the less certain bitcoin prices will also be expensive and go up. and that's the chance we all make investments in order to get big profits and avoid also the name of the main loss

You are right, BTC supply limited and it's demand so high. I agreed with you. The demand of BTC is increasing day by day because the price of bitcoin is increasingly . Sometime BTC price up and down. I believe that BTC has a bright future.

Bitcoin does not always occupy a tendency to rise, fast dump is also one thing to sell bitcoin because of panic, sometimes sell bitcoin is a good thing because we can buy at a cheaper price again.
