According to Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, who spoke to CoinDesk TV on Thursday, "everyone in Miami is getting free bitcoin." Known as "the first Web3.0 city," the move is part of a fuzzier overall strategy to become "the first Web3.0 city." It involves separating apart the profits the city generates from MiamiCoin, which has already produced $21 million for the city.

I'm curious as to what you think about this issue.

A total of 129,800 option contracts worth almost $6 billion are slated to expire on Friday, marking one of the largest Bitcoin options expiration of the year. Most of these contracts are call options with a maximum pain price for today's options expiration is $48,000, which is the strike price with the most open options contracts. In other words, $48,000 is a strike price that would cause losses for the majority of options holders at expiration. If we continue and make a break for 50k by the end of the day it would force a bunch of buying of Bitcoin and could spark a nice rally over the next few weeks. I would imagine though that market makers will try and hold the price between 47,700-49k to suck the last amount of premium out of these contracts and let them expire worthless.  Next week will truly be telling as new positions are established.

https://tokenist.com/in-depth-bitcoins-5-7-billion-worth-of-options-expire-on-friday/

There is a ton of pressure now that institutions are holding large amounts of crypto and VCs are pumping money into projects. Combine that with there being options and futures available now on Bitcoin and you have a market that is a bit more manipulated. You have over $6 billion worth of options expiring today with a maximum pain price for Friday’s option expiration at $48,000, which is the strike price with the most open options contracts. In other words, $48,000 is a strike price that would cause losses for the majority of options holders at expiration.  Like clockwork, BTC is hovering right around 48k and will likely all day. Next week is when we can expect to see a move in one way or another.

Another paraphrase, without providing links to the source

According to the Bitcoin Treasuries List, 59 companies and a handful of countries have 1.49 million bitcoins (BTC).

On March 1, 2021, 42 organizations had bitcoin on their balance sheets, representing a total of 1,350,073 bitcoin. This was the result of 304 days, or nearly nine months, of work. Statistics show that there are 59 corporations, many nations, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with a total of 1,499,493 bitcoin kept in treasuries, according to the data.

Is it right or am I missing something else?

It seems that lately they are adapting and no longer copy directly but change the words to make it more difficult to find plagiarism.

By the way, I reported skrimon and Rupok365 on December 28 and and they don't seem to have been banned. Is it because of the end of the year weekend or am I looking at it wrong and they have been banned?

I can't read most of it, but doesn't this user need a heads up on the forum rules instead of a ban? He's not posting to earn money from his signature, and it doesn't look like he's the copied part is the only thing in his post.
Again, I can't read it, but it could be the forum isn't better off without him.

Yes, it's unbelievable how even Legendary accounts use this forum to post content but obviosly they are lacking at a basic level which rules are in place.

Proper quoting should be basics and I made a thread myself to point out how to quote properly but obviosly some Legendary members feel too entitled to care for the rules.
Even the edited version is a fraud: no quotation marks, no link to the original source (since it's an internet article) and no [quote /quote] function.

Translation of my post:

Therefore, important reminder:

Plagiarism is not allowed and is a strong offense leading to a ban if you do it. Chances to get your account back are very low.
So please be careful and don't plagiarize by paying attention to:

  • Forum rules:
    33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]
[e]33. This includes both copying parts or the entirety of other users' posts or threads and copying content from external sources (e.g. other websites) and passing it as your own.
  • When copy-pasting content from sources outside the forum (Twitter, News etc) you need to provide a link to the original source. In addition, you should use the "quote" Function to show that it's not your original content:
    Quote
  • If you find helpful information on Bitcointalk, it is sufficient if you simply quote this message directly, each message can be quoted with a function in the upper right corner (next to +Merit), as long as the thread is not closed. If it should be closed, copy the text, put it in quote and add the link to this message. You can get the link to the respective message by clicking on the title of the message (Re:...) and then copying it as url.
  • For translated contend, please ask the original poster for conset or at least add a link above the translated part, to show that it is not your original work.
  • Don't copy useless Shitposts for Signature Spam.

More advice how to avoid plagiarism: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism
And I've linked even more content.

Still (Legendary) members don't care. Unbelievable sometimes.  Roll Eyes

It's very common for the German section that some people feel too entitled to care for the rules. That's especially concerning because we have very high quality translations about forum ettiquettes, Trust and Merit etc and those translations are pinned (!).
There are quite a few other members which don't care a shit if we ask them to learn how to use this forum, how to quote - nothing. A few weeks later the same issue.
At some point I believe it's just ignorance (or stupidity).

Plagiarism of @hd49728's work by RajaDen.

Magic.

It's very lazy plagiarism of my post. I believe no excuse or appeal will be accepted. I can not imagine why you want to earn merit and copied, pasted, skipped source to get it.  Roll Eyes

I have taken the time to read a lot and also summarize some of the important points I have learned and also This thread plays as a reminder for all forum members, especially shit posters, whom have kept continuously to post their shitpost daily.

Decentralized exchanges

Decentralized exchanges are crypto exchange platforms that allow users to buy, sell, send, receive, and trade crypto-related assets in a decentralized system without a central authority. It purely works on a smart contract protocol.

DEX promotes Peer-to-peer trading, enabling users to directly transfer funds from one person to another with no third-party involvement. Yet, it has drawbacks, like users are supposed to deposit crypto into their crypto wallet to make transactions. Also, it requires KYC verification and crypto wallet integration.

The benefits that DEX offers are as follows

Fund Control - Users have direct access to their funds, and there is no central authority that can hold your funds from using them.
Security - Most of the DEX uses a smart contract system that is immutable in nature that prevents scams, thereby offering more safety and security.
Privacy - KYC is not involved here, as mentioned before, so there will be no private information leakage or theft.
Now, one can get a clear idea of how a DEX works and the benefits that it delivers.

Here I have listed some promising decentralized exchanges below,

Uniswap
PancakeSwap
IDEX

I'm here new have lot of queries regarding bitcoins, one of the main concern does bitcoin is privacy protected or not. As per my search bitcoin have less privacy. Each transaction is recorded on a distributed public ledger, i.e., on the blockchain, making users switch from bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies. People trust bitcoin because they have heard of a misconception that says bitcoin is a private system. But the reality is completely different, and users must understand that the bitcoin network is anonymous but not completely private.

This is just based on my search what does your experience said. Specially requested to senior members to elaborate this and help me out if I have mistaken.

This user isn't just a plagiarizer, he's even harassing Newbies now with his anti-science corona denial BS.
If we don't act accordingly soon, we will get a big mess, drying up this forum even more by making it unattractive for Newbies.

Many people in the German section are doing a great job by providing quality content like guides or help for newbies. It's not worth at all to lose it.

Today the forum was filled with bunch of newbies shilling Bondex. I would not even notice it, but last sentence really confused me ("This time I got lucky and found Bondex pretty quickly, but it really annoys me"). I think if a person searches for "Bondex" among todays posts, there will be even more proves of plagiarism. If a project really paid for that kind of promotion, that was really a waste of money.

If someone offered me any superpower, I would definitely choose the ability to find decent crypto projects in a few seconds, because now it is a kind of a torture. This time I got lucky and found Bondex pretty quickly, but it really annoys me

Thousands of people lose their jobs every day due to the global pandemic and, as a result, are forced to look for work. Therefore Bondex simply cannot fail. It’s head and shoulders above any other such platform

Now I understand why even those who are really versed in crypto hire people who surf the market for them. It just feels like it’s impossible to find anything worthy here. I’ve spent a lot of time searching and it seems like I found something really good. Bondex is what I’m going to invest in

P.S. this user made 26 posts on "Project Development" today and it's likely there are more plagiarism.

The moderators have already removed most of his posts after I reported them.
But again, this is the same moron of their list that LoyceV provided.

The majority of NFTs are made with one of two token standards: ERC-721 or ERC-1155. The ERC-721 is a Non-Fungible Token Standard that implements an API (application programming interface) for tokens within Smart Contracts. It provides functionalities like to transfer tokens from one account to another, to get the current token balance of an account, to get the owner of a specific token and also the total supply of the token available on the network. If a Smart Contract implements the following methods and events it can be called an ERC-721 Non-Fungible Token Contract and, once deployed, it will be responsible to keep track of the created tokens on Ethereum.

The ERC-721 (Ethereum Request for Comments 721), proposed by William Entriken, Dieter Shirley, Jacob Evans, Nastassia Sachs in January 2018, is a Non-Fungible Token Standard that implements an API for tokens within Smart Contracts.

It provides functionalities like to transfer tokens from one account to another, to get the current token balance of an account, to get the owner of a specific token and also the total supply of the token available on the network. Besides these it also has some other functionalities like to approve that an amount of token from an account can be moved by a third party account.

If a Smart Contract implements the following methods and events it can be called an ERC-721 Non-Fungible Token Contract and, once deployed, it will be responsible to keep track of the created tokens on Ethereum.

CryptoKitties NFTs hit the ground in 2017 running using ERC-721. They are a blockchain-based virtual game that allows players to adopt, breed, and trade virtual cats using Ethereum. They exploded into popularity and landed features on major news stations including CNBC and Fox News. CryptoKitties was created by a Vancouver-based company called Axiom Zen and quickly went viral, earning funding from top investors due to their rise in users.

So the year 2021 is coming to an end. Happy 2022 everyone!

This 2021 year , a lot of interesting things happened, we saw new ATHs, dumps and pumps, a bunch of opportunities, big profits, hype meta and p2n game and much more. I wonder if 2022 will be the same rich and positive year for the crypto market!

What altcoins can make huge breakouts and surprise us with new ATHs? Which blockchain will become a worthy competitor for Etherium? Personally, I think that Near Protocol, as the most scalable and accessible blockchain, can greatly surprise us... As well as the blockchain Flow adjacent to the NFT and the game sector. I think they can make a splash and also repeat the success of Solana in 2022!

Original post:

...

Metaverse is the new hype now in cryptocurrency and block chain technology. A new perspective of block chain with innovative view is the metaverse, thus metaverse uses artificial intelligence and Blockchain technology being combined to create a digital and virtual world because of the demand for virtual reality increases. The creation of metaverse is convergence among manufacturing, logistics, finance, automotive, sports, healthcare, education, food and everyday life. In addition, as the problems of material production and supply were solved in the First, Second, and the Third Industrial Revolutions, and interest in human personal desire and spirit increased in the Forth Industrial Revolution stage, a new convergence between offline world and online world are being created.

It's one of the top cryptocurrencies that has witnessed a growth of about since its inception.

Chainlink ( LINK)

Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network offers tamper- proof inputs and outputs for complex smart contracts on any blockchain. The crypto integrates third- party data into smart contracts. While smart contracts on ether respond to other asset rates, global events, and API calls, smart contracts in LINK are made smarter as it only responds to exercise on its network. It's one of the primary data sources used to feed information to Defi applications.

Ethereum (ETH)

I do not speak German to get into the essence of what is happening, and I did not delve into the report two weeks ago, but the above-mentioned report will not lead to a ban since the author unambiguously stated the authorship of another person.

Moreover, I do not trust the reports of those people [so I don't understand why you sent -Lemming- 10 merit] who deliberately cut out quotes out of context and publish them as a plagiarism report, since there are enough inattentive people on the forum who tend to draw frivolous conclusions, (I highlighted in blue).
