I would expect 30% of today's top 10 can survive, along with 2 new coins that came with newer technology or ideas.
If I have to bet, I will bet on BTC, ETH and Dash. 2 new ones may be today hidden among the start ups, let's see.

Whats the reason for siacon and decred? How you differentiate them from others like PIVX? siacoin is nothing liek PIVX. Decred could be similar, but with way better development. |

Okay. The list and reasons you mentioned here are pretty convincing and I'm with you on this. Ripple being "centralised" has big potential to explode in the market. It may catch up the prices that we never thought of due to its application in banks, as you mentioned. I'm also happy with ethereum progress due to it's twin characters matching the bitcoin. People are trusting it more now a days and most of the ICO projects are based on it. Good choice and nice speculation about them. Hope to see them rock in 2020.

by 2020 the top 50 coins/token worth at least 1 billion dollar each, at least.
agree, already top 5 have hit that mark. top300 will be 9 figures too. any coin that was launched in 2014 and still hangin today will be a top300 in 2020 |

I instead prefer Ripple that will last until 2020. I know that most projects now use ethereum, but We are talking about resilience here and Ripple is better.

I think ethereum is still the best because I think ethereum is more widely used and has a lot of smart contract to make the altcoin quality and potential, Ripple I think it has potential in terms of technology but no potential develop |
