Have the chips from batch #3 been ordered?  It looks like enough chips (half) have been requested, but perhaps not payment for half has been received?

Also, you mentioned 4pcb/advanced circuits.  Were you looking to source the PCBs or the entire assembly through them?

Also, has there been any speak of when the sample chips for PCB Assembly testing might be shipping?

I've been out of the loop for ~2 weeks  but it looks like things are progressing nicely Smiley

We should be close. I'm out of the office in a meeting. If we have reached the halfway mark tonight when I return the batch will be purchased.

I requested both fab and assembly pricing from Advanced.

Sample chips ship end of May.

Welcome back Smiley

I was hoping to mine enough to make it to three boards before this group buy closes, but it's going slow and money is locked at exchanges. I have transferred the "cash" BTC I have on hand right now, enough for 24 chips, and hope to be able to supply the rest very soon!

(edit: somehow wrote the wrong amount of BTC in there, but the transfer was for correct sum)

Awesome -- I sent you BTC and an email for some chips on the third batch.

Might I ask the plan for whatever quantity of sample chips you're receiving?  Klondike16 PCB or another board testing?

BkkCoins is receiving at least 16. There are a couple other dev's I'm watching that may receive some, and I am still working on validating an Avalon clone as backup which will probably receive some as well.

payment sent for 16

payment sent for another 32

I have ordered and paid for 116 chips. I believe that I need 12 more to make up the full board.

When would you like this extra done, or should I do when paying for the board assembly.

Thanks

Not sure about others but I did this to have a few spares

Great idea.  Payment sent for a few spares of my own... hopefully before batch 3 sells out!

... I am still working on validating an Avalon clone as backup which will probably receive some as well.

Let me know if you need FPGA help.  It would help to get a Klondike built without the CPU, you could then hook in an FPGA eval board to the pads from the CPU and test the FPGA code.

ps. Can you clarify for everyone - you're about to buy this batch, but is it about to close?  ie. are you still interested in buyers for the remaining 50% or not?

Thanks,
Tom

Based on the number left vs bought there are still chips left, I think he is just about to buy the remainder out of impatience Tongue

Hi assuming that i buy 20 chips, can you host them? because importing them to Argentina is very dangerous, i'll pay for the assembly and you can will get a percent of the total hashing power.in the future i also will buy some more chips or even assembled units
