Well if he is buying the remaining chips.... yeah there is a whole half an order left so if you beat him to the buy then you just take from his half.

Hi assuming that i buy 20 chips, can you host them? because importing them to Argentina is very dangerous, i'll pay for the assembly and you can will get a percent of the total hashing power.in the future i also will buy some more chips or even assembled units

At this stage the boards steamboat is working with are assembled in groups of 16 so you want to buy a multiple of 16 chips.

Steamboat is offering assembly and hosting, details are TBD.

Am I to understand that this is within 644 chips of filling batch 3? If so, I would like 32 chips for now.

On second thought. Make it an even 40. Assuming we're within 644 chips of placing the order (or, I guess 572), after mine, and the guy above me.  Grin

I have ordered and paid for 116 chips. I believe that I need 12 more to make up the full board.

When would you like this extra done, or should I do when paying for the board assembly.

Thanks

Adam

An add-on payment now will do fine. There are a limited number of chips from each batch to be used to fill orders for those who haven't purchased enough chips. Once this reserve is gone, it's gone.

Let me know if you need FPGA help.  It would help to get a Klondike built without the CPU, you could then hook in an FPGA eval board to the pads from the CPU and test the FPGA code.

ps. Can you clarify for everyone - you're about to buy this batch, but is it about to close?  ie. are you still interested in buyers for the remaining 50% or not?

Thanks,
Tom

Thank you TomKeddie, I will keep you in mind.

Yes, Hosting will be offered. Final pricing details are in progress, though assembly and sourcing are higher priority.

I see alot of interest on here for the K64's, but from my understanding we will have a working 16 before we have a working 64.

Im not sure I understand why people are interested in holding their chips for a 64 when it could be 1-2 months after a K16 is released.  Am I missing something here?

A K64 is only a K16 with a few parts less because they are "daisy chained". So no new plans has to be made.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Way to go Steamboat! Batch 3? Clearly the US is big and wide Smiley Only seen a part of it (Ohio) and it still was wide enough Smiley If you need K16 boards, let me know. I could even take them myself to the US.

Okay, I had seen that and also that the update that the order had been placed, I wasn't sure what to take of that. Thanks.
