I really like the way paul runs his pools, since I cant mine here, then I am rewarding his hard work by mining on his FTC pool. This really sucks about CNC though, they are also attacking bter and driving the price way down for CNC there last I looked people were panic selling when it popped back up at .00195...asshole ddossers.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.

There are very angry people who have accumulated only BTC, and think other coins are "stealing their money."

We have gotten past ignore and laugh.  Seems to be fighting stage.

It is everyone who does not want to share - thinks they own rights to cryptocurrency, Chinese not welcome!

There are a lot of people who for various reasons want to kill CHNCoin.

Please stick with it.

Hard to stick with it if I cant mine it on any pool. I suppose I COULD buy some on bter at the .00175 current rate, but with everything thats happening, it could go even lower so its too big a risk to buy. I suppose this is how its going to be (or worse) everytime a new coin is introduced and shows signs of being valuable. There's nothing to be done about it though. At least they are leaving feathercoin alone again.

Be patient.  Difficulty will stay low so there will be more opportunity for a longer period.

I am configuring my miners to first look here, then if it is down to switch to backup.

I would increase my donation to 5% on top of the fee if you want to put up stronger DDoS services.  It is an investment risk though owners would have to weigh.

Should owners win they would own the CNC pool market like BTCguild did for BTC.

Updates?

I know price fell on bter, but there are so many GPUs and interest now the market can sustain several alt-coins running sCrypt hashing algorithms.

If pools would work price would go back up.  DDoS is destroying confidence that the currency will continue.

Looks like a large DDoS for the past bit, the IP is null routed for the duration of the attack so it will keep coming back online as soon as it stops.

22.14 Gbps   , 5,356,064 pps

RIP my old pools... sometimes BTC isn't life ;(

Does anyone know any hosts to use? I'm using staminus now and they want about $100/m per Gbit / 0.1M PPS of DDoS protection. I could try black lotus, it's 675/m for 10 Gbit / 6M PPS

Code:
Start End Size Rate
May 5 17:43:39 PDT 2013 May 5 17:56:11 PDT 2013 17.67 Gbps 1,589,209 pps

It's because of low diff, you'll get that no matter the pool right now.  new block, current work discarded, rinse, repeat.

It's work that your doing but not submitting to the pool -- so yes it does affect mining.  There's just nothing you can do about it.

Some p2pools are still up. It seems like CGminer is still getting stratum support from this pool, which I don't understand at all....but who cares it's good Smiley
