Have a feeling I will do either really well or really badly today, it will depend on the early kick off, on which I am betting on an upset (based on bookie odds) by a slim margin. In fact, I'm keeping close to the bookies this Week for most of the games and betting against them (only slightly). Good luck all!

Also, yes, very keen to look at joining some World Cup pools next year, plus Champions League. These, and Euro, are the only pools I would consider, as long as the fee is not too large (the fee for this pool was reasonable at original fiat pricing). I bet on other leagues but one-offs, can't say I know anything about the teams outside of England.

I'm feeling confident this week, but I've said that before and done shit.

I agree that Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and Germany Bundesliga are not as good as the Premier League to bet on. For today I played a lot of surprise results gambling what can bring me lots of points or very few points or even 0 points for this week games of the league. I think it is the only way to have a chance to go to the top, only through big risks.

It's not that, it's just I don't follow them as closely so I wouldn't be able to make very accurate predictions and wouldn't be fun for me.

Fuck these guys haha. There's still 40 minutes to play though so I'm hoping Spurs come back with 2 goals to get me the 10 point draw, though I'll be nervous if they get the one just in case there are no more goals and those two get the full 40 again.

Just to clarify from now on I will probably refer to ajaxmoor, StephenCurry33 & Cicciobtc collectively as "The Bastards".

In injury time now, looks like it’ll stay 2-0, StephanCurry is on fire. I don’t tend to bet on exact scores, my favourite type of bet that I do every weekend is an accumulator. I went into Ladbrokes earlier - 4 games, with both teams to score. For the American’s amongst us an accumulator is another world for a parlay.  It was £20 on returning £178 if it wins

It finished 2-0 so they just got the ten points. I usually do 3-fold accumulators. Skybet usually have good ones with enhanced odds every weekend and nine times out of ten I put them on. Actually in a lot of profit just from doing them alone. Today's is Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. Was 2/1 but enhanced to 4/1. Very good chance of coming in but there can always be surprises.

I've been referring to you Top 5-8 guys as bastards for a very long time now =p Of course, all good natured. I frequently do better when predicting without actual bets made on the game. I can't really explain it, since I'm pretty sure I don't bet differently, but I suppose without the psychological influence of bookmaker odds, we analyse better?

I actually thought my week would depend on the first game, which I got 0 points for predicting a 2-1 Spurs win.

However, Liverpool came through for me again at 3-0, and I got Man City spot on with a failure to score more than 2 goals in a really long time (when was the last time anyway?). Barring the Man Utd game that I predicted at 1-1, I got correct outcomes for every other game, with 1 goal more or less than the actual score. Pretty satisfied at 120 so far, to me any week I score more than my average (below 100) is a good week!

Look at Burnley go, eh guys? Level with Liver and Arsenal haha!

I got tomorrow and Monday's games at 1-0 each, but am probably going to tweak them just before kick off.

I wonder at what place I would be if I just followed my original plan of copying Lawro's predictions and adding minor changes of my own.  I think I'd be in the top 5 easy imo.

Yeah, I was hoping to make good progress in my difficult ascension to Top 5 but Carles and Rick just had to be the bastards this week.

Tonight's game: I made a 1-0 prediction on Watford... but then the early score means I'll have to hope both teams fail to net for the remainder of the game... over an hour of play. In my experience, very difficult to expect in the Premier League. But who knows, eh? I'll be very, very pleased to walk away with 20 points from today and tomorrow. I went with the safe bets of home wins by single goal margins.

Did you guys ever take on the sidebet on top scorer? My dark horse Mo Salah just topped the charts with yesterday's brace.

I lost a few spots this week but I am happy with the 70 points result, it's the average the best tipsters of the forum have done this week and I am looking to recover the upcoming week. There is still one game to go and I predicted a 2-1 win for Brighton.
