Yeah, I'll almost certainly do this as it gives everyone playing a chance to win something even if it's just their money back (though that 0.01 is worth a lot more than £20 now haha).

I was also thinking about a prize for those that get the most correct scores from one round but I don't think there's a way to easily and simply verify this as a person's individual choices don't seem to be revealed anywhere.

What does everybody think about a small additional prize to the person who gets the most points from one round? There's enough cash to go round and I think it will make it worthwhile for those that feel they've got no chance of getting in the top five to keep on playing?

If I do it I'll probably start it from not this round but the next one maybe so we can keep track of who get the highest points from there onward.

That is a great idea! Definitely second it and is extra incentive for those who entered late, not to mention added incentive to keep trying your best and not give up! And I know most at the top won't mind a small prize taken out from the pool. Also, maybe tokeweed's suggestion to have it done every week can be implemented for V2.0? Maybe sort of a small part of the pot every week to the top scorer.

On this mid-week so far, I think 60 points from 3 games are very fair value! Chelsea scored an extra goal to make my prediction miss, while Burnley has continued its impressive form to record yet another win and clean sheet, to give me full 40 points!

@Wendigo! You really need to set predictions as soon as the week is over, you can always return later to change it!

Yup, I did too meh.  Did hilariousandco start the rewards for the highest points of the week last night or do we need to 'have consensus' before we have this soft fork on the betting pool enabled? 

I see the hard fork of the betting pool is also doing well.  Good for them.  Lol.

Oh and can I sucker somebody on a bet that Man City can make it 15 wins in a row?  Nothing big, just 10 USD in BTC, payable when the no. of unconfirmed transactions go down enough for a cheap transfer.

Crystal Palace screwed me over in the 89th minute not only for 40 points on a perfect score but they also cost me £170 from a ten pound bet on the Skybet enhanced crowdboosted threefold. Absolute bastards. Only ended up with ten points from the first three games.

Also, maybe tokeweed's suggestion to have it done every week can be implemented for V2.0? Maybe sort of a small part of the pot every week to the top scorer.

I'm not going to do it every week. There'd be no money left in the pot if we did that.

I'm going to be moving the pool funds to a new wallet address sometime between today and the weekend so nobody panic. Will also be working on the top five prize pool money distribution and bonus prize for the person who gets the most points in one round and will post the prizes on here and the op once finalised.

Yeah, makes it more exciting when there's not many places between people. I'm glad there's nobody out way ahead so it makes it more interesting. Even people outside the top ten can still have a a chance of getting into the top five with a couple of really good scores.

Well, with Gundogan's goal, I now can collect a maximum of 20 points from opening games (yes, I backed all the wrong horses this week so far), though it's likely to be just 10. Been swinging on alternate weeks now, 30, then 140, 20, then 120 and now 10. Hopeful for tomorrow's results, but I won't change my scores. I'd be really surprised if anyone made more than 100 at this stage though, the FT scores were to me, mildly surprising. I'll still celebrate if Spurs manage to even draw this game though.

Is this the week we start giving a bonus to top scorer or does that start Week 19?

I only got 30 points as well, but if the City game ends up 2-1 I'll get a perfect score so just need Spurs to score now as it's 2-0 haha. I'm, watching the game and they've only had one shot on target so far so I'm not hopeful but you should never doubt Harry Kane.

Yeah, was gonna say most people seemed to be on 40 points, myself included. However, I just got 80 after getting the correct score on the Man U game. Hopefully Steph didn't get that one so we'll be tied on points if he just got the win right. I need the Liverpool game to end 0-1 which it is right now for another 40. Can't see it staying like that though but I'll take the 10 if they go on to win.

Didn't feel like a Super Sunday, even if my team got the win (so did all the teams around them that's why). Table still updating so I couldn't check if anyone got more than 100 so far. One last game tomorrow though, so even I can score 100 if Everton give me a slim win! Can't decide if 1-0 or 2-1 is better, they seem to have got their defence tightened up, judging by a frustrated Liverpool last week.

Yeah, got the Man Utd one right when I decided to go 2-1 after not using that scoreline in predictions for a long time. Liverpool shot right ahead and got my 3-0 prediction right by half time, of course Firminho had to head in to "spoil" my party. Still, 60 points when I only had 10 last night is a lot better than what I thought I'd end up with. Could have levelled with you on 90 if Bournemouth shut their goal down after half time

@tokeweed, you didn't get even 10 points, surely you backed at least one of the big teams to win? Maybe I'll do that for next week: bet a draw or loss for all the top 6 (Except Liverpool haha) and snag maybe a nice fat lump of points if they all suffer from Turkey hangover. But you're leading by 40 points for our sidebet of $10, so that should keep you happy this Christmas.

No. I haven't started that yet. And again, it's not a weekly thing and at just a hundred points I doubt I'd be the top spot for long. I will probably do two or three place payouts for that as well though just in case someone gets a ridiculous score one week and looks like nobody else will come close. At least if there's consolation prizes for second and third place it still keeps it interesting. These bonus payouts wont be very big though, it's more of something just to keep everyone playing even though there's very little chance of them winning one of the top spots.
