Bah, just can't get it right. 90 points isn't terrible but I made a few bad calls when others made even better ones. Keep seeing quite a bit of people drop off with 0 points. Have some of them just given up or were they really gunning for impossible outcomes? Good week for most of you though, racking up those 100+ scores. Well done.

Trend so far this season which holds well. New management (Swansea) can bring good early results. Damn Swansea =p

I’m trying my best, been in bad form for a month or so now, I’m sure I was 2nd for quite a while earlier in the season. StephenCurry has been killing it all season, he’s done so well.

Does StephenCurry even post in the forum? I don’t think I’ve ever seen him knocking about.

Yes, I think in the next EPL betting pool there must be a side bet so all the participants are eager to make good predictions in each week. Maybe we can start by giving a prize of entertainment to each participant who is able to earn the highest points on a weekly basis.

Btw, I also not yet enrolled for EPL 2.0 betting pools, maybe I will soon join if there is a side bet.

yes, in the next season we will have to insert a prize for the best weekly score, so all players even those out of the games can continue to play and hope to win that prize!

I've done that on a few weeks actually, but I tend to go for 1-1 draws instead of scoreless, since it's the Premier League and goals are a plenty. Then people like Chelsea and Arsenal especially shock me by not being able to score and then I get just the 10 points. I got my picks in for this week just about in time for the early kick off (can't for the life of me understand why I forget sometimes when I actually have a reminder!).

I predicted a shock 1-1 Burnley draw for City... so far so good with Danilo scoring a minute ago. Liverpool 3-0 is my usual prediction and I have a personal straight Liverpool bet to win at just over 2.1 odds. Also got United down to draw but I'll favour Arsenal for a much-needed solid win today. Two assists from Mkhi, please!

Only for Liverpool. 3-0 win every damned week! It's actually got me a decent eturn... 4 3-0 wins (160 points), and of course 10 points on every win (10 wins so 100 points). That's 260 points which is a quarter of my total tally this season... I'd say Liverpool's done me well so far.

Yeah, I put that down with minutes to spare, though I have been putting city down for many losses/draws so I guess this 40 points is a consolation. I would probably have banked at least 100 points extra had I always backed them to win as most bookies do each week. In all honesty, they were wasteful with their chances, and Burnley got their just rewards for going at them with 3 shots on target. Pep will probably also rue not filling up his sub bench, that was just stupid and slightly disrespectful to his youth team.

I want to try that 1-1 score or 2-1 score on every game every week as chances maybe are high if you put in these scores but have not done that because of being afraid. Anyway for today games only 2 correct scores of Bournemouth and Man.Utd and all others miss not even a correct result .

Edit: Another correct score from Newcastle today I go to 120 points, still 0 correct results hit

I initially had it down as 1-1 but changed it to 1-2. I thought it would be close but City would be too strong for them. Sometimes you should just stick to your guns but I've also won points by changing scores at the last minute (something I rarely do).

2-1 is quite a popular score and is somewhat of a lucky score for me. I would only go with 1-1 on the closely matched teams but I never like betting draws as do most people. I had Watford to draw 1-1 with Chelsea last night but didn't expect them to demolish them, though I suppose Chelsea having a player sent off early would have helped a lot. Looking at the fixtures for this weeks games I think I'll probably go with a lot of 2-1s of 1-1s as there's a lot of closely matched or hard to predict games. One thing that makes the games a bit more interesting is half the table is potentially in a relegation battle as there's only 9 points between a regulation place and 9th place currently.

I was about to change Newcastle and Liverpool predictions on Sunday but I let them as I had predicted and they netted me a 80 points with being 2 correct scores. I sometimes wanted to change predictions but always end up by not changing them and I will continue to do like that , I have been lucky every time I didn't change predictions. Only 12 weeks left to end the Premier league and it is very close at the top, it shows our pool betting is a very balanced one and that is good for competition.

yes, 70 points is a great score until now. For me only 40 points but there are those who have done worse. You are definitely the most fit player currently. A few weeks ago you were far now you only have 80 points behind the first place.

Glad it's working out for you, and glad I'm not the only one enjoying this! It's actually my first time in a betting pool with a community I don't know in real life, and have got to say it's actually a bit more fun than expected. That the prize pool is a lot bigger than when we first started is a bonus, but that's really just thanks to Bitcoin appreciation. Not much more games left, but I think everyone in Top 12 spots still have a very decent fighting chance at top 5 prizes - kudos especially to those who entered late but are still climbing the ranks.

Same objective as me, I've been hovering in 7th and 8th for a very long time. This week got 3 correct outcomes but not results so 30 points is a bummer. If Liverpool can salvage something for me, I'll be very happy with 70 points.

My kid's been begging me to watch that but after 5 minutes of yawning at curling... no offense, but I'm struggling to find any enjoyment with winter games. Granted, they're quite curious to watch but after the novelty wears off...

Trawling my sportsbooks too but I don't know enough about the athletes to bet properly!
