I have guessed the exact result of the Liverpool today, with these 40 points now I am second in the standings and I have only 40 points from the first place!
It will be very difficult to win this pool betting but I'm happy to be still in the game!

You were joint second. Now you're not after my correct score prediction on the Chelsea game last night. I'm now only ten points behind StephenCurry333 for first place. No games this weekend until the 24th.  I wonder if anyone outside the top six will end up finishing top five? It's very close at the top but a couple of bad weeks for any of us could cause an upset. I

Glad it's working out for you, and glad I'm not the only one enjoying this! It's actually my first time in a betting pool with a community I don't know in real life, and have got to say it's actually a bit more fun than expected. That the prize pool is a lot bigger than when we first started is a bonus, but that's really just thanks to Bitcoin appreciation.

It's good value for a small amount and entertainment all season long. I'm sure next season we will get a lot more interest. Shame bitcoin fell by 50% as the pot took a big hit.

OK, I don't like this bet a lot but I say he will not resign himself ,at maximum he will be given the sack as there has always been the case with the Real Madrid team.

There's been a couple of times I've got next to zero points - well, about 30 or something - so missing a week or two wouldn't be devastating especially if you can pick up the slack by having some great weeks with 150+ points etc.

This week I might actually bet my predictions for real just as an experiment. Seeing as I'm doing pretty good on the predictions I wondered how successful I'd be in betting some small stakes on my actual picks. Say £1 on a correct outcome and £1 on the correct score over all the games. I'll see what the odds are and if it's worth it but if I have a bad week I'll be screwed haha.

Got to admit, I very nearly forgot about this thread, which I really shouldn't because I do have an outside chance of entering the prize spots with 11 games to go. Who knows? Someone might miss a week, I'll hit the 200 point jackpot, etc.

I've had quite a lot of those sub-50 points weeks. Too many gambles that didn't pay off, usually correct shock outcomes that didn't get the right scores. I'll probably play out the remainder of 10 games with a bit more reasonable predictions (I took another run of crazy predictions for this upcoming one).

I did try that out somewhat (betting on predictions) and found a high correlation... losing bets when I followed predictions, and great scores when I didn't bet. I thought it had something to do with some subsconscious that could somehow predict better when unsaddled with wagers. Who knows? You might become the next great tipster here haha.

I will try at Nitrogensports this time 10 games but only 10 correct scores , usually I have been hitting 1-3 correct scores in these latest weeks so why not try to make some extra applying this logic. I will bet only 0.0001 BTC to each correct scores. Less than 72 hours  before games start so if you haven't made your predictions be sure to not miss it because these are the last 11 weeks, so even missing one week can damage your score in a heavy critical way.

In this round I saw that there are only 9 games to predict because on Sunday, there is the final of Carabao cup between Arsenal and Manchester City.
however, it is a difficult round because except the favorite Liverpool at home the other 8 matches are very balanced with any possible result!

Edit: My experiment failed miserably with only 10 points from Liverpool today, I guess will be number 6-7 in the standings when week ends.

Yeah, same here. 20 points from the Liverpool and . I backed all the underdogs (according to bookie odds) to win, except for Liverpool (my usual 3-0) and Brighton (I predicted 2-1). Newcastle made me smile (I predicted 2-0) but it was not to be, not even 10 surprise points as they eventually drew 2-2.

If I HAD stuck to previous weeks strategy of picking unexpected 1-1 draws instead, I'd have hit it on Leicester and Burnley. What the hell, right?

Stephencurry and Betadviser did well. So I might as well gamble on today's two games, favouring a low/no scoring draw at Palace (come on Benteke!) and Willian to continue his hot streak to beat Utd 2-0.
