Yes, wealthy people can make a difference :
~ If they convert some of their wealth into Bitcoin, the price will go up and everyone will benefit.
~ With Money comes power and influence - If Bill Gates say something good about Bitcoin, people listen.
~ Rich / popular people have resources that might improve Bitcoin. < They might pay developers to improve the code >
~ They have some influence with politicians. < Laws and regulations might be more positive towards Bitcoin >
~ They have influence with banks. < Banks are currently trying to sabotage Bitcoin >
~ They own most big businesses and might influence shareholders to accept Bitcoin in their Malls/shops/services.
So yes, they can have a huge impact on where Bitcoin can go in the future. ^smile^
If we speak about the Rothschild, Morgan's, Rockefeller's etc. then no, they control the banking system, they have no reason on using bitcoin, they never will. If we speak about self made millionaires and billionaires then yes and we already have some and we will continue to have more of them and that could always be a good publicity for bitcoin, enough with the ransomware stories.
Good observations here; Rich families and personalities has a lot to contribute to bitcoin market and community as well as they're more popular and smarter in the eyes of the people more especial in the financial world. People look at them as visionary in terms business or money investments, wherever they invest their money people want to invest their money too because they very good on investing on stock that turns out to best in terms of profit. |

They are not different from us. They are still people.
But this guys have they own financial managers who makes every decision for them or makes some offer to where their money should go or to be invested.
Perhaps, we should be looking for those people first before we can reach those rich people to invest with bitcoin.
They are actually the one who makes the proposals then it will be a Yes or No only with he rich guy.

The wealthy can also afford to play games with money. Do you have a lot to spend? Fund a FUD campaign and buy coins for half price. Create a craze for a coin and pump to 10x price. Sell for 20x profit. Rinse and repeat.
The old money in the world remains unconcerned with BTC; it is the Bitcoin-wealthy that are having all the fun. Many of those who were into Bitcoin from the start got rich quickly and suddenly found themselves with much more money than they ever imagined they would have. I do believe that crypto currency is for those people who wish to have financial freedom.
Based in my observation, Bitcoins became a big break for poor people to become rich.
Most of them are those who were literate in the computer language.
Next thing, the rich people would become curious on how those coins set people free from the bondage of poverty.
They would be amazed and they would try to engage in Bitcoins, as a leading crypto in the coin market today.

Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrency are like a blessing for poor people to become rich. Bitcoin offers many ways to earn a good living, but i do not think most of the rich people would bother about bitcoin. They would use it to save some of their money in the form of digital currency but i do not think they might be practicing practices like trading, mining, etc. They would always bother about their primary business. |

Yes, many rich people just use bitcoon to play in various online casinos and also gambling sites.The loss there won't matter them a lot. And also i don't think rich people would be giving time for trading and pumping some coins. They would mostly concentrate on their primary business. If they get some time to learn about trading, they can surely have some good profit by pumping the coins and selling at 10x. |

Yes, they are also same people as we are but with some extra money and a good financial life. They can easily pump or dump any coin in the market with a lot investment. If they are given some basic knowledge by their finances or managers then they would surely try to make more profit in trading. Rich people would always run behind mobey but they won't afford to waste their time so they would try to make a good research. |

Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrency are like a blessing for poor people to become rich. Bitcoin offers many ways to earn a good living, but i do not think most of the rich people would bother about bitcoin. They would use it to save some of their money in the form of digital currency but i do not think they might be practicing practices like trading, mining, etc. They would always bother about their primary business. i think still bitcoin is too much popular in modern and developed countries while the poor and underdeveloped countries have little knowledge about bitcoin i think if we introduce bitcoin in such poor countries i think they will get good chance to make some profit from these countries. |

We don't know that for certain Really, how do you know the nouveaux riches that got rich thanks to Bitcoin are still sticking to it till now? I read sort of "reminiscences" or "memoirs" of an early Bitcoin adopter here (I didn't hear from him lately), and he was telling that most early adopters had long parted with their coins. What's more, many of them got into Bitcoin by pure chance, and some of them were even drug addicts at that. Obviously, the latter don't have any bitcoins any longer, and they are likely dead by now already, anyway |

Maybe those rich people who using bitcoin is for the transaction to make easier and less hassle . And other rich people is to invest in bitcoin so they can earn a lot of money so they become more rich. If you are rich you hunt a good business and the answer is bitcoin is best choice for that.

I would say no, they won't, for instance, if Bill Gates is still found investing into Bitcoin, then he is not laying a good legacy for most people. There are people who are trying to survive, to have a meal, and they can't, just for a day. Having 1 Bitcoin is a kick start out of a poor estate, so its a way of reducing poverty from the world. |

I guess that first think that rich people would do, is get even more money from dealing with bitcoins. Just by holding a lot of bitcoins people made small fortune, and imagine what would rich person get if he or she invested some of their money into bitcoins. Yes, I think it's possible. Especially that Bitcoin is decentralized and it keeps all users anonymous, that would probably be an advantage for them. Some of the well-known celebs such as Ashton Kutcher, Mel B, Snoop Dogg and etc. do engage in using Bitcoin. A good way in terms of advertising and popularity but as a whole, I guess that doesn't have any effect on us. Though, It could help to boost or increase the number of investors in this world. Which I think is good for the industry, the more money rotates in the economy means a lot opportunity will open. It is indeed those rich people could possibly do such things, let's just hope for the best. |

If there is big investment in bitcoin then the price of bitcoin will have a much better prospect of getting higher and so is the reason we had a good rally in all the coins for the past month or so and if you are a user who invested in the coin when you could afford then you could a good amount of profit. Wow, so that is how bitcoins really work! But how much is the amount of money that we are ralking about here? Or investmen maybe that can really make bisible effects on the price of bitcoins? Yeah i agree, i just wosh i had the money to spend for investing in crypto currencies :/ Too bad I don't. Sigh* but i am not losing hope. I just have to work hard. I know I'll be successful one day. I just have to believe in myself and persevere. |

Well, if you ask me, rich people that are really rich have done so many businesses or at least thought about lots of it thoroughly. And no doubt, they have already invested in so many things too. And when you have done it all and see bitcoins, you would really take advantage of its potential and invest in it. Because real businessmen no matter how rich they are, they never settle for whatevet net worth they already are in. They will always want to be richer. I know there are a lot of better choices, but bitcoins are also one of them. And i doubt that they would let this chance to gain profit slip away. It is also a good thing for us if rich leople invest a lot coz it means higher value for bitcoins. But if they all decide to withdraw all of a sudden, then we have a problem. Because again., as what you have said, "rich people are capable of so much things". And those above are included in all the things they can do. |
