I have mine with Hynix.
What is the difference between PBE OneClick and manually copy straps from 1750?

any one try this cards

Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 4GB OC GDDR5 GV-RX560OC-4GD
singel fan

ASUS Radeon RX 560 4GB GDDR5 RX560-4G dual fan

what is your hashrate

Yes, I had a couple of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 4GB OC GDDR5 GV-RX560OC-4GD - Were locked to 896 shaders, Micron memory, so after some searching and following some instruction I unlocked them to 1024 shaders, also found a custom strap for Micron memory flashed it all back and managed to get 13.6MH/s.

Also purchased some Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 4GB Gaming OC, running PBE OneClick, getting around 14.8MH\s at the moment.

Mate, I also have gigabyte with 896 shaders but it is a samsung. Will you please guide me to change 1024 shaders? and also a decent modded bios. I am getting only 10,5mh and it is frusturating as it is my first trail in mining ring setup
Thanks

Try following this link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1934285.msg29490583#msg29490583

I used this for the 4GB non Gaming and used standard PBE one click for 4GB Gaming cards all were version 2

So thanks 1337toolz for the rom! It unlocked 16cu which is awesome. Just for some reason every card decided to take a hit of over 1MH/s so I went from almost 51 to just over 45. I redid the bios with the one I created and boom! Back up to over 50. Weird. With 14cu that ASUS card gets between 11.6 and 12 MH/s but when it unlocked to 16cu it dropped down to 10.2 and it took down the other three cards as well. I also lost the compute function in the Global settings but it is running where it was running before so no harm no foul
That's really strange. You should get at least 1Mh/s extra instead.
Could you compare timings of the 2 mods, please? Are the timings same? If not, try to move your timings to the mod I've made.
looking at it in PBE the timing straps are exactly the same as when I used One Click...should I be looking for something different?

Guys, please could you help me. Where mining is concerned, what is the difference between the rx 550 and the rx 560?

Bump - really would like some help. I have one MSI rx 560 OC 4gb that gives me 12.8mh when dual mining and want to build a 13 gpu on thes entry level cards due to stock - just see the 560 is a 40% price premium to the 550 4gb so hoping one of you have experience with the differential between them as I can’t find it related to mining

Profitability looks to be just about $2 a day. So at this rate, it will pay for itself in about 2 months... if prices and global hashing hold.
I think it's not bad

Its much worse for ethash, but its OK for cryptonight, from what I can see on forums (don't own RX550
so can't personally confirm)

Thanks guys re your Rx 550 feedback. Anyone looking at the claymore cryptonite miner for amd? Thinking this may be a great option based on Branko’s Feedback on the capability for cryptonite  - 2GB cards are always available. But power draw will be an issue in comparison to the norm on these babies. I love my 560 power consumption.

The "real"TRX550 has 8 cu´s and 1750MHz RAM. The other RX550 with 10 u is a rebranded RX460.
The RX550 (Polaris 12 with 8 cu´s) power consumption is very low. A little bit lower compared to RX560.

4 GB version: ~450 h/s @19W (gpu-z)
2 GB version: ~410 h/s @17W (gpu-z)

The "Baffin.1024unlocked.OneClickTimings.rom" should work at least not slower than the "asusRX560bios.rom". Could you try once again, please?

It´s easy to unlock the RX560D, sometimes Wink .

Open BIOS with a hex editor (hxd) and search : 6F 22 70 22 replace 70 for 6F, so end code is 6F 22 6F 22.
Open the BIOS with PBE and save it to correct the chcksum.
That´s it !

But some card´s can´t be unlocked.

Good luck !
But the card is not faster, because the memory is to slow (1500MHz).

An other option is to donating your GPU computing power (and get MEDIC coins rewards) to support protein folding at home project of Stanford University through MEDIC Coin's folding at home initiative.

Hi miners,

Put my rig of  6 RX560 4GB, 70.2mh/s ETH 329 watts on wall, GPU pull 30 watts. What do you think?
GPU clock: 1350
Memory clock: 1880
Power limit: -35

Can do better without bios mod? my concern is electricity, i pay 0.16 €/kWh

Yes, you can !  Wink
It depends on your memory speed. 13-15Mh/s each card is possible.
