Even reading the post above where hilarious quotes the op with the "trusted members are better off PMing" ...
I did PM Darkstar 2 days ago, few hours ago he answered me telling me to write in the thread, so I don’t understand your complaint.

This is what I said: (emphasis mine)

Hi, if you want to apply, please make an application post on the thread once there is an open spot. Thanks.
I think the solution to this will be to start tagging people who apply to campaigns when it's either full/closed or they don't meet the requirements. If this is done people will be more careful reading before applying. It's really appalling.

Sometimes it ends well for others. Im pretty sure they can read, they're just trying their luck here. You don't need to tell them when do they do it.

That's a pretty strict solution... and one that wouldn't make sense, especially considering the new changes to trust in regards to Guest perspectives.

Annoying? Sure. But it's not worth diluting the value of negative feedback to resolve it. Besides, all you'll have is a slew of extra threads in Reputation reprimanding rigid regulations.

misunderstood something

You need to read first before trying to understand. Maybe look at the title of the thread that states "FULL" and the conversation over the last pages about people who keep applying while there is no open spot.

I guess nobody can blame you for trying once, but if you even start bumping your application which doesn't even have a segwit address as requested...

Agree here, I am not the most stupid ape on the planet, I guess, but was a little overasked with "how it works here" and probably did not spend more than 5 minutes with reading/understanding when I applied for an BTC-Campaign for the first time, so I basically did the same (applying with no availability).

Also in times of Google the mentality shifted to "ask your question quick and come back later to find your answer" over "take your time and find out the answer(s) to your questions.

Annoying indeed, but seriously, lets just skip it and don´t make a big mess out of it, mostly making a mess is ego-driven only anyway Wink

I can understand that sometimes members don't read the OP before applying or don't understand the rules correctly but seem like Layer1gfx doesn't even bother to read anything in this thread.

I see ongoing discussion about bad applications a few posts above and to see this application just after is kind of hilarious.

Slightly off topic: Do we have a Discord group? Regardless if official or unofficial, and regardless if it's ChipMixer campaign members only or not.

My Discord groups are dead. LOL

Why not make one @DarkStar_?

What would be the purpose of it?

I personally greatly prefer Discord due to it being more clean and organized, and I personally don't like to use my mobile number to register on Telegram. But hey. I'll join either!

Still not sure what there is to share TBH. If you look at the 10 last pages it is either people applying because there is a spot open (can't be done on TG), people applying while there is no spot open (again an off forum group won't change a thing), DS sending the txid, opening spots or telling who is chosen, or people ranting about people applying while there is no spot.

Still don't see any use case for the group. But maybe I missed something.

But hey if the purpose is to create a CM cabal, let's do it
