Slack, Keybase, Telegram are (IMO) better than Discord. Voice chat is not a necessity.

I don't use voice chat either. I personally just prefer Discord over Telegram due to convenience, though I'm perfectly fine with Slack. Anyway, this doesn't need to be a sort of "official" channel.

Discord, Telegram or whatever messenger platforms have their own annoying aspects. They will make things more complicated for both DarkStar_ (manager) as well as for all participants of such channel. Why do we need to make things more complicated when we already have a perfect place for it (here). Of course, manager might require some things passed to join such channel, but in general it will create new workload for manager, and more complex things for participants.

Like I said, it doesn't even need to be an official group with DarkStar_ on the helm. I was just initially looking for a channel that has Bitcointalk members in it, regardless if there's ChipMixer peeps there or not; just for casual bitcoin and crypto talk stuff. But yea forget it.

I think it would be neat to have a well run Bitcointalk group chat somewhere. I don't see much point in having a ChipMixer specific one as it's really easy for me to send a mass PM if needed. (@everyone would save a few seconds though  )

Slightly off topic: Do we have a Discord group? Regardless if official or unofficial, and regardless if it's ChipMixer campaign members only or not.

I don't think so. I would rather see a Telegram channel for the participants of the campaign than a Discord server. Why not make one @DarkStar_?

Nah, Chipmixer is all about protecting people's anonymity and 3rd party services like Discord and Telegram are all about collecting and sourcing people's personal information. 

Just imagine if we all joined these social media platforms and governments go after you, because you help to advertise for services that helps people to protect their financial privacy.

Other than his v strange obsession with the taxman and others persecuting his coins, he seemed inoffensive to me.

Plagiarism? He got banned in this wave so it might be possible he did a few mistakes in the beginning?
I haven't seen him posting a ban appeal or at least starting a topic asking why he was banned and this is strange, although he might have done it via PM.

Globals can now issue sig bans so it'll happen more often but isn't going to be a let off for everyone (so if half your posts are copy and pastes then forget about it but people who are getting banned for one or two posts from years ago will likely be shown some mercy).

I "know" another guy on this forum who has been banned for plagiarism dated back to 2014 or 2015. I'd like to know who and how could check something like that...
