Hmm this looks like FUD to me.. Collapse, Bitbar was announced at 5.30 and according to the blockchain only 5 minutes worth of mining occured prior to the announcement?

From the block explorer I see:

2013-05-02 13:56:10 to 2013-05-02 14:00:06 - Five minutes of mining

After that nothing until 17:32:

2013-05-02 17:32:10 - First block found after 17:30 announcement on the forum

Am I misunderstanding it? Please correct me if I am wrong but that looks like only 5 minutes of mining before it was publicly announced.

Could be UTC, I do not know,..
Where "Bitcointalk" lives? +UTC?

Elacoin-ELC,Betacoin-BET,Neutroncoin-NTRN,Americancoin-AMC,Stronghands-SHND,Craftcoin-CRC,DOGE,BCH,BTC,...,Bitcoin,...(and a lot more)
Linux updated wallets (source code) for: ELC, BET, AMC, NKT, SLING, CRC,...
[if (blocknumber > 115000) maxblocksize=largerlimit]   [I don't think the threshold should ever be 0.  We should always allow at least some free transactions.]

Well that would explain why the devs chose to stay anonymous. They didn't want the people they sold their coins to find them and beat the hell out of them.

just shows you that developers did everything in there power to be honest so the BitBar could change the way we do business. On a side note have you ever thought that BitBar has crushed the chances on another worthless alt-coin clone . BitBar is the Alt-coin deterrent

The windows wallet works fine for me. I just installed and launched it on a different computer no problem. Try using another computer maybe?

If nothing else works, you can still run bitbard.exe in command line mode, and use it like namecoin, in command line mode you can still do everything.

alright, thanks!

I had looked into the debug log, it was trying to connect to an IRC server but failed and stuck at a time loop.

Edit:
It has more than one attempt to connect to IRCseed or something, and the retry interval kept increasing.

I still don't understand why people are complaining about the premine of this coin. Compared to the other recently released coins the 'premine' here is negligible.

negligible barely even. 2-5 minutes wow BitBar is the future and people know it

CryptoCoinExplorer Now has a BTB Explorer!!

BitBar has joined the coin family on CCE.

btb.cryptocoinexplorer.com

Well, now it is easier to fully understand the extent of the scam:

1. 60 blocks excluding the genesis block were premined
2. Difficulty for the first 735 blocks was so low that it can't even be shown on the explorer
3. For the premine part, 59.644201 BTB were generated in less than 4 minutes
4. For the difficulty under 0.001 part, 600.324139 BTB were created in little more than 20 minutes

http://btb.cryptocoinexplorer.com/chain/BitBar?hi=736&count=737

I though you dreamwatcher actualy care for the existing cryptocoins but now I see you are no better than most people around here. No respect for you anymore, bye!

Please stop trolling this thread. 3 million feathercoins were created on the first day, a good chunk of that in the first hour or so. And the difficulty of Feathercoin was just as low.

Thank you Dreamwatcher.

It was under 3 million and that was less then 1% of the total coins.

I have the exact same problem. Even completely wiping bitbar and reextracting the archive, deleting the appdata folder didn't help. Did you find a solution?

All fine there, right? 1 BTB = 2 BTC so $13,680 for the preminer ... ohh, sorry, "developer"!

Well that's not too bad considering the person who mined the first 10,000 BTC is now worth $1.1 million.

I will be posting here and on other scamcoin threads for as long as you people are promoting the scam. I won't leave you alone, ever, capishi?

Thanks, bro, keep the faith. You're performing a valuable service to the community.

The other coins will fade away and all that will be is the Gold-Crypto- Bar BitBar " in BitBar we trust"    super- RARE you are more likely to see a Unicorn ,Mermaid, Big foot , Alt-coin that wasnt premined , loch ness monster before you will ever see more than one BitBar in the same place
