you're right mate:
"Ethereum wallet addresses are in hex [0-9A-F]*. While the address itself is case-insensitive (A is the same as a to the network), the case sensitivity is used as a (optional) checksum. It was built as an after-thought to an addressing scheme that lacked basic checksum validation."

thanks for the info

They're smart for running the campaigns well after the release, and more new, good ideas like this ought to do likewise if they have the money for it.  It's just good business sense IMO.  I'm grateful they're allowing me to participate whilst it's still going on.  Thanks Civic & edwardard!

The long term projects are always focusing on gaining continuous patronage from this community and for this reason they love keeping their different campaigns alive. Civic is focusing on our everyday life hence it might need to get familiar as much as possible that will be playing a core roles for taking it into every crypto aspirants as well rest of people who are yet to enter into crypto world. It is more than business as it must be an integral part for finding success !

The token distribution starts at July 16 ?

About that time-period, though I'm not very sure as the
last time I checked they said 3weeks after the crowdsale ended or 'mid-july' .

Just can't believe! $33 Million In Digital Currency Tokens has been sold in such a short span of time. CIVIC has not only reached it's goal monetarily but also gained a lot of trust and reputation of a successful stakeholder in the world of cryptocurrency. Congrats team CIVIC. Proud to be part of you.

Congratulations on your excellent ICO, CIVIC. We are proud to be part of your campaign here on Bitcointalk.
Hope to see greater achievements for your Company in future.
Signature campaign was just a promotion for the token project which sale is over already. I think the campaign will be over soon, because of the result of the sale was incredible.

Yes, the ICO is a sucessful one, but i hope their media campaigns for bounty should continue for the more. ICO is not the End ofcourse. They will be listing the coins to the exchanges and making them popular is also a priority and social media campaigns continue to help in promoting all the way through.
Normally we hope the campaign to be continued, cause of in other case we all just loose our job Cheesy CIVIC is a good project and idea by itself and I think it could be continued to been promoted as it is, a decentralized method of verification of the identity of the Internet users.

The token distribution starts at July 16 ?

Where is the source of this information, the token distribution has taken longer than I expected, since this is ethereum based token, to generate the tokens shouldn't be that an issue

If you haven't notice, there is a question mark in his post so he is likely asking if it'll be distributed on the 16th, which is the middle of July. And per OP, it'll be distributed 'mid-july' or 3 weeks after the sale.

I would be happy to just get the ETH refunded that I contributed.  I received no token allocation or refund of my confirmed contribution.   Is that not the definition of a rip off?

I wouldnt count anything out now, but one thing Im pretty sure of is... no matter the situation, you havent been ripped off.

Have some faith. I will be personally hoping that you received your token allocation.

Please keep us posted and if need be, maybe we can work together to make sure you are taken care of.

Thank you for the considerate replies, and I have read as well that the tokes will be delivered on or bear the16th of July.
I hope any disgruntled investors will be satisfied at last.  Good work people!  Cheers!

I haven't received anything so far as well.
Is there someone who participated the ICO in the same situation?
Could someone confirm whether the token allocation started or not? (ie: did someone already receive the tokens?)

Thanks a lot
