Everyone is waiting for an update. Everyone is waiting for that announcement that OpenANX will actually deliver some worth for their investors.
It is without reason that openANX is not listed on at least 2-3 major exchanges like Bittrex, Livecoin, Poloniex. The only reason I see for this is that the project leaders doesn't want the price to increase. Why - I don't know, but surely there must be a reason.
And don't give me that BS about the project / team not wanting to have anything to do with the market speculation, because you don't have to, in order to just get the coin added.
You were delivered 25 million, 25 million fucking dollars. And you can't even take the time to pay a few btc to get the fucking token listed? This is utterly embarrasing, and I do get why people are selling to get out. But yeah.. That doesn't really matter now does it, you got your money.
Pathetic.

Hi Degar, thanks for the interest, but please don't go out there spreading FUD. From all our comments and statements, it's pretty clear I can't speculate on exchanges, however a quick look at Bittrex shows they haven't listed ANY new tokens in almost a month. Likely to do with the hard fork but again, I can't speculate.

So again, please don't assume we have some grand plan to screw you, because that is simply not the case. We are working hard to make our product the best it can be.

Hope this helps

Thanks,

Guys I cannot transfer my OAX tokens out of myetherwallet.  Transactions give errors.  Any clue?

HI Vanquish, sounds like you may not have registered with your email address? go here

https://registration.openanx.org/

Please clarify this moment, if i was not registered on openanx site i cannot move tokens from myetherwaller to exchange or elsewhere place i wish?

Also i don`t understand this policy. The first Token Sale - 25,009,249.58 OAX. The total number of OAX tokens to be issued is 100,000,000. This means that current token holders will lost much value of their money invested in OAX with your every big token sale-out. Because you fully control 75% of remaining unissued tokens. Am i right?

Why the OAX Platform Has the Potential to Shake up Centralized Exchanges by Byungwoo Sohn

The main problem, I believe, is that there really are no viable alternatives to centralized exchanges at the moment. If I hear Bithumb got hacked and want to move my funds away, where would I go? I’d probably go to another centralized exchange in Korea, like Coinone. The same problem still exists however. No one really knows how or why Bithumb got hacked, as the system is centralized, opaque, and closed. If I moved my funds to another centralized exchange, does any of that change? How do I know that the new exchange I sent funds to has better security protocols?

God forbid the OAX platform ever have a security breach, but if one were to occur, there are clear protocols in place. First of all, unlike centralized exchanges which hold both crypto and fiat private keys, Asset Gateways in the OAX platform will only have custody of a single set of keys. For example, with a fiat gateway, the gateway will only hold onto the fiat currency in a transaction, and the user will retain crypto custody. The vice versa applies for crypto gateways.
Asset Gateways will also have transparent collateral levels, so that users can determine the amount of risk that they want to take on in a trade. The whole system will be open-sourced and transparent, so that everyone can check if there are potential loopholes.

Does anyone know what the relationship between OpenANX and 0x project is?

Hello, crypt0kid! 0x project is one of the partners of the OAX Foundation.

The openANX platform will take advantage of technical developments on the Ethereum blockchain such as payment channels (Raiden3, 0x, Swap, ERC204) and utilize them to overcome the challenges faced by the current CEM

You may watch the video with conversation between Hugh Madden, Technical Director of the openANX
and Amir Bandeali, CTO and Co-Founder of 0x and Will Warren, CEO and Co-Founder:

Part 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxN0Rh8L_Y8&t

But to some extent 0x and openANX are going to be competitors, aren't they?

Hello, jvper!
I think nobody can answer about partnership and level of competition better than Hugh Madden, OAX CTO.
You may ask him directly (@hugh) on our Slack channel. Welcome!

Indeed, OAX is a brand new project, of course it takes some time.
I don't have doubts OAX will deliver bigtime! Great team, can't wait to what future brings.

So many ICOs promising decentralized exchanges, non have delivered in a clinical form with any meaningful trade volume. Why is it that the case?

The main reasons is that big volume traders, who do trading professionally, cannot reach the levels high levels of BUY/SELL orders on existing decentralized exchanges. Essentially the low level volume is self defeating when it comes to mass adoption. In OAX's case, its different. Our backer, ANX International, will integrate Order books from day 1, as will some of the other Asset Gateways. This will essentially super charge trade volume. In addition, we have a wide network of traders and players who will come onboard, also from Day 1.

It helps that many of our Founders/Backers have a LOT of experience running centralized exchanges

Decentralized exchange are the future. I see no real future for HVE's such a Poloniex. Fear of an exit-scam or seizure of btc-e frightens people.

Go openANX!
