Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?
Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?
I mean we all the time correlate its value with fiat currency then buy/take then what's its purpose in my day to day life?
Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.
I think you are expecting bitcoin to be used like any other fiat, and I have my doubts bitcoin is ever going to be used like that, many have equated bitcoin to gold, and that is the way bitcoin is working at the moment, if you look at gold you will see it does not move much, someone buys some gold and then keeps it in a safe for decades I think that is the same thing that is happening to bitcoin.

Long confirmations is not a reason for shops to decline bitcoins because bitcoins transactions are not irevisable and will go through the wallet that been sent off,it cannot be cancelled at all

Last year I tried to build online advertising platform with friends. I didn't have enough funds so I spend some of my btc funds in the wallet. I also cash out some of my btc funds in order to buy a new computer. So, after all, I feel that I used my btc money wisely but now, when I see btc price, not sure any more And that's why people are not spending even a bit of BTC on real life things. BTC is an investment now and people are more interested in holding them rather than using them. Who knows one day we may have BTC jewelry and people keep them in their chains.

I have use bitcoin mostly for trading proposes. I bought various ALT coin using my BTC, Sometimes i sell BTC on localbitcoins and paxful. I also like recharge my mobile phone with bitcoin.
I always read about localbitcoins. But I don't understand how to use it because based on what read. It is riskier to buy bitcoins their rather than on normal exchange like kraken. There is a lot of ways in localbitcoins for exchanging bitcoins, and not risked ways. you should choose a good seller or buyer with a good reputation and make the deal online or in Live, if the buyer/seller living near to you.

We say bitcoin could prosper only when it will step into real world as fast mean of remittance and replaces other forms of money. But don't know when we all accepted price to be the determinant of success. This has brought bitcoin far-far away from reality to an assumed position where it could only grow as investment. Said but true.

I guess bitcoin today is just for investment but still you can use it to buy in a store that is accepting bitcoin but not really in all store because I guess bitcoin is still in the process of adopting in so many countries and still many countries don't accepting bitcoins.

I bought some physical coins a few months ago that I thought is a great investment and I have a few of them now but no plans of selling them yet. I also use Bitcoin to pay for my utilities like cable, phone, mobile phone bills. Now I am challenging my self on buying a car on which monthly payments will come from my earnings in this forum.

It's not that the confirmation took to long, I mean once you send bitcoin to a certain address, it's really hard to revert that or you can't even undo that and with that, the owner will have assurance that their bitcoin will be send to their address.

Wee, I agree that in most of the countries there is yet no infrastructure developed for the regular usage of bitcoin but it doesn't mean that bitcoin is useless. We are still in the beta stage and we have yet to reach milestones. Don't forget the speed of the internet in the first few years of its invention and when you compare it with that of today's internet what do you find? Same about digital storage, computing power and so many inventions out there. Things take the time to develop and those who have faith in it are accumulating it for the purpose of profits, nothing wrong with it.

Yeah totally true , Beside of the practicall life to use the Bitcoin directly is also has importance because the use of the Bitcoin is now available at the local shop in the Japan , so instead to think about the practical use , you should think in the logical way that how the economy of the Japan is increasing with the Bitcoin . Japan is a big power in the technology so you can understand howuch the Bitcoin is powerful and safe according to the technology future with our money . If you can go in the Japan then you can see that Bitcoin is uses for the every payment purpose of you want to pay , even the airlines in Japan are started to accept Bitcoin payment . So instead of looking the bad thing , you should see the good thing also , here many people are making earnings with the Bitcoin in his full time job with the Bitcoin and trading with altcoins .

After knowing bitcoin I can buy valuable items, bitcoin is very useful if you know how to use it and many other things about bitcoin.
Been using my bitcoin to buy things and pays it through online payments. It is ver handy and convenient to use. it can be used like a normal currency money. I've been wanting and planning to invest it i some tradings but still studying the processes of it. And doing some hoarding of course. I always took the chance to convert bitcoin to my currency when it has a high value and hoards it.

- Confirmation time is not so long if you are willing to pay higher fees. There is no chargebacks so merchants will love to accept bitcoin. - There are many bitcoin ATMs in world's major cities and Japan accept bitcoin as just another currency. - Even people from third world countries can use bitcoin to purchase anything from amazon using purse.io - Many more countries are making laws to regulate bitcoin so that they can start to accept bitcoin as currency.

Buy things off the net, pay for subscriptions, pay for bills, utilities, buy phone credits even. But no more. I am loathe to part with my coins and use it like regular money for everyday life. I feel it's a waste. It's like, buying something and paying 10$ when it's only worth 50 cents. Now all I do is try to earn more of it and save, sell off some on occasion, but mostly it's held.

I totally agree with you, it takes a couple of years to revise invention for the betterment of everyone. Bitcoin is still taking baby steps and could take a couple more years for it to be well developed. And I don't think bitcoin is useless just because there are other countries that doesn't have bitcoin ATM or whatnot, but some countries are slowly developing their knowledge and are also trying to keep up with what other countries are having. It takes time and we should give it time and it will progress in the near future.

I think, there are at least 500X people who have no idea about bitcoin and they will join us within the next few years which will boost the community, infrastructure and the price of bitcoin. I see a very bright future for bitcoin, especially in the developing countries.

There is not too much to explain about the potential of bitcoin, we can say that it is infinite, but in fact, it is always limited and managed by the government. Although the government accepts bitcoin, there is also a way for them to control the existence of bitcoin. Bitcoin has a bright future, but it does not think its value has increased unceasingly, 10 years is a long time, but I'm sure it can not reach $ 100,000.
