What's going on with the price? Its 5x since last week, but almost no news here. BTW are there any plans for adding the coin to new exchanges?
Same question here. Maybe tradesatohi could be an alternative as a second exchange. A 2nd exchange could gain more people to CRDS.

There was a wallet update (v.1.1.1) which resolves the wallets crashing. Also, we are looking for new exchanges but right now nothing is confirmed.

In addition, in January 2018 there will be a CRDS airdrop from the premined funds. We will post more details in the coming week.

I am looking on more info about mining this coin can i be directed in the right direction I have ryzen 7 and have downloaded the windowss qt wallet , sorry for the newbie questions

Go to tools -> debug console and type setgenerate true -1
Then, to see your hashrate type gethashespersec

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

hello ppl...this is my first qt miner experience...for some reason I thought it would be harder than writing a .bat file.....I assume that "hashratepersec" is me....how do u know when u find a block???...just balance increase??...thanx

edit:  hashespersec

That's right, gethashespersec gives your hashrate, to see the whole network hashrate type getnetworkhashps. Yes, when you find a block you will see it on the wallet and your balance will increase. Of note, it may take several hours to find a block or even more than 24hrs.

thanks Boss much appreciated

Right now we are around 5.4MH. With the ryzen you will probably find at least 1 block per 24hours.

Please help me. I followed all the guide to startup a masternode, I did a self-payment etc etc and masternode was going to be enabled.
After 10 mins I checked the status and it was expired, so I tried to re-enable it and I found that my wallet was encrypted.
But I never set a password and I'm sure because the self payment I did was not requesting any password.
Now I have the wallet open and I don't know what to do...How is possible to have it encrypted without any notice ?
I tried on another pc and you receive a lot of warning before the encryption.
creating a masternode I was not exposing any info...so how it was possible ?
I can find the password somewhere ?

Please, i just have my first 5k crds on it.

Thanks
Chris

Looking for help for with a master node, I have gone through the tutorial completely but cannot start the master node from the wallet, it just says "Alias:MN1 Failed to start Masternode Error:" and is stuck on MISSING status.

Actual VPS states: "status": "Node just started, not yet activated"

All the configs look perfect i.e. setup correctly as per the site tutorial...

I have waited 15+ confirmations for the 5000 coins, is there any basic info Im missing? Thanks in advance

Solved, for some reason it stated a mismatch in debug file. Re-did the transaction for 5000 coin and waited 16+ confirmations and it worked this time around...Not sure why exactly it worked this time but its working Smiley

The master node tutorial on the main website needs to be updated for daemon version 1.1.1. Currently the PDF tutorial download link is for the older version 1.1.0 and will fault the masternode daemon with this error "Invalid protocol for Masternode, only IPv4 is supported."

Changing to version to 1.1.1 fixed everything i.e. status to "ENABLED", hope this helps someone....

I am new to the coin and I am trying to collect as much more as possible before I invest.
Where can I see at least a price chart to see how the coin moved from its creation until present time.
I am not sure where I can find more info about your masternodes - how many you have running and what is the current ROI.

I wanted to try the Linux version on an Intel i7-2600 cpu. So I selected "Not Listed / unsure" on the download page.

Unfortuantely the daemon crashed repeatedly after a while when I was trying to mine ("illegal instruction"). I therefore looked through the dump and stumbled across

Code:
0x698505        vpxor  (%rsi,%rax,1),%ymm0,%ymm0

which is an AVX2 instruction afaik. Is there any Linux build without relying on AVX2 available? Shouldn't the "generic" version work without this instruction set?

Thanks!

You could try the non AVX2 version which can be found on the download page of the github
https://github.com/CRDS/Credits/releases
The file credits-1.1.1-linux.tar.gz is the non AVX2 version

Sorry for not joining all of you on Discord. Some may remember me from Slack, I was around since launch day. I have been following the progress, and am happy to see there is a strong community forming around CRDS. I'm considering donating a BTC or so to help with exchange listings. (No, this is not altruism, as a CRDS whale, I stand to gain much more back long term. I had previously donated 0.1 BTC or so way back when.) If there's a list to the cost of listing on exchanges for CRDS, please point me to it.

Thanks for your answer! Unfortunately this was the version I was using. I downloaded it again from the link you provided. If you look at 0x698505 (of creditsd) you can see the problematic instruction I quoted is present on this version.

Hey, yes I remember you! We haven't setup a multisig wallet for BTC, but we will set one up with mrankin and andrew2k and let you know!
Most exchanges we are looking at want between 1-3 BTC.

Thanks

Have you tried the AVX2 version?

yes, it didn't work as well. But I successfully compiled the version myself and it works, so you should check the configuration of your build system.

If someone tells me how to build it with boost statically linked (as in the download version) I can provide you my build. Currently it's kind of a mess depending on all those boost libs.
