It would appear that after months the founder of NAV (soopy) has not returned the 288 LTC he took from the beecoin community?

In fact it would seem to many that he took 3BN beecoins (that were not his to take his agreed share for continued support of beecoin (which they obviously did not get) was 1BN. He dumped those coins crushing the small market they had for 288LTC and then vanished and went to work full time on NAV coin.

I can only suggest that at the least the LTC that were not his are returned to the beecoin community else this is going to put a black mark against NAV

Whether beecoin is considered a shitcoin is totally irrelevant you simply can not pull things like that and expect people to accept it.

The NAV community should apply pressure to Soopy because it is not worth a scammer tag on this projects devs for such a small amount.

All there on the beecoin thread.
This point has been raised before and is common knowledge for those involved with that community.

I pressed post before I had finished typing on my first post.

This issue will not fade away. I am being asked to push this even though I personally feel soopy is not an intentional scammer more just someone who saw great opportunity with NAV and had no time for beecoin. HOWEVER you can not take and dump coins that are not your own for continued support and then just vanish to work on another project.

The return of the LTC to the beecoin community will suffice to end the matter since I am sure with NAVs success soopy has no time for beecoin for such a tiny sum of ltc.

Perhaps such a small community can use these funds to put towards a developer that help them get back on their feet.

I don't see why you link this to NAV Coin lol. That is kinda sad too be honest. He worked on NAV Coin but does not anymore. So there is 0 connection and I don't see why the community of NAV should do anything with this.

I do agree however that the situation sucks for you all. Good luck!

He founded NAV coin.
He is still heavily involved with that coin behind the scenes.
Nav community needs to do nothing about it at all. NAV founder soopy does need to do something about it. He and only he himself should be required to do what is right.
I am hoping the Nav community though could indeed put some needed pressure for him to do something rather than just keeping their funding.

That's is a Lie. SOOPY is no longer involved with NAV. He hasn't been active since the end of last year. It's a personal issue between you and him.

I don't think anyone can prove this. Least of all you.
How would you go about ensuring what anonymous dev is working with which anonymous coin and how much of that anonymous minting he holds.

Well if you follow NAV you will clearly see that Soopy is no longer developing for NAV. At this stage you are jeopardising your reputation blaming NAV for a bad deal made by you guys. Soopy actually answered your quote in your thread.

Anonymous devs with previous bad conduct are good at vanishing and not being visible and not having anything to do with their latest projects.. Re-inventing themselves as other usernames. Surely though he is still heavily involved with nav.
I am not trolling NAV - read clearly. Nav's founder soopy. Is that clear enough.
Soopy's answer was the same as always. Sure I will take that with a pinch of salt until I see evidence he means to go through with what he says.

A bad deal? explain further this bad deal we made? I don't call someone taking by force what is not theirs a deal.
Perhaps you can shed some light on it.

I'm a small Nav holder myself so it is not like I am wanting to damage NAV.
Soopy is not some shit coin dev. He is a skill developer that created NAV he has to act more responsibly.
He must have made a small fortune on that coin so the least he can do is return beecoins LTC. Such a small community does not deserve to be ripped off like that.

You realise of course that straight after SOOPY dumped 3BN beecoins and took the LTC he got he went to work full time on NAV. I hope this fact has not escaped your notice.

I notice too you joined an more or less became a nav convert from the outset.
You also deemed it a good move to vote for soopy for an honour award?

You're quite a soopy fan. Perhaps you can reach out to him and ask him to do the right thing?

Show me the proof of him using the 'alledged" stolen LTC to found NAV.

Dude... That post about voting for the NAV Dev was from 2014! Really?

We are adults here. And again. What he did or not is problem of him and BeeCoin. Please stop fudding NAV. He has not been active in NAV for more than 6 months. Only one post since December.

And dude, don't troll me! I am not going to talk to anyone about anyone's money. This is crypto for god's sake.  He dumped your coins? Well...do a hard fork and destroy those coins! Move on!

Hi Cryptohunter,

I am here to confirm that Soopy is no longer active in the Nav Coin project. The last wallet he worked on for us was our 3.x wallet which is now out of service. You can see his last commit on the project was 3 Jan 2017:

https://github.com/navcoindev/navcoin2/commits/master

Our core project is now on a completely different code base than Soopy worked on and the source code for NavTech is 100% written by me.

Feel free to look at the current members of our github organisation and check the commit histories on our projects if you are unconvinced.

https://github.com/NAVCoin

Nav Coin is in essence a community project, our team is ever evolving as new people become involved and old members fade away. We have taken some time to restructure the Nav Coin Team section to more accurately display who is currently active on the project with the inactive team members relegated to the Legacy Team section.

https://navcoin.org/#team

I am actually the only founding member still active on the Nav Coin project, but we currently have the strongest development and strategy teams in the history of Nav Coin and we are all working hard to keep the project on a steady course.

I am sorry to hear your circumstance. I will gladly send Soopy a message and ask him to contact you. I have attempted to get him to contact GREEDYJOHN numerous times in the past regarding beecoin and other projects they are both involved in. I can't guarantee he will respond, he can be a hard person to get hold of, even for me! But I will try.

A friendly word of advice when paying contractors to do work, especially anonymous ones on the internet: don't pay the whole fee up front, pay for work delivered.

Best,
Craig.

If what the scenario is actually what it is and not what we are made to believe, then I personally do not see any scam intention here he did his job, got his share and decided to sell off. If by virtue of morality he should have stayed longer, then that is another issue but what if the price kicked off to a high level immediately after he dumped his own share then he would have lost and so many people here would have blamed him for taking such decision. Its a risk and he took it and so many of us would have done the same thing if we were to be in his shoes.

What part of he took 3BN when his agreed share was 1BN for continued support did you not get.

There is nothing for you to be made to believe. There are the facts and observable events and then there is the convoluted mess you have derived from either my lack of details here or your lack of research.

If you would have done the same thing then that speaks nothing favourable about you.

Its like I agree to pay you 500k for building me a house. You take 1.5 M from my bank and have built perhaps half a house. Actually it is possibly worse but hopefully even this simple example help you on your way.

Thank you Craig that would be great. I appreciate the reply and hope to hear from soopy. However even should i not hear from him i am grateful that you reached out.

Beecoin trusted soopy with the custody of the coins we did not suspect that he would dump all 3bn (3x his agreed fee) and vanish. Of course this was a mistake.
