I started up a p2pool with the p2p-jkc-master git repository, but it doesn't seem to do much....

Code:
C:\Users\Miner\Desktop\P2Pool\p2pool-jkc-master>c:\Python27\python.exe run_p2pool.py --net junkcoin
2013-05-06 23:27:21.580000 p2pool (version unknown 7032706f6f6c2d6a6b632d6d6173746572)
2013-05-06 23:27:21.584000
2013-05-06 23:27:21.589000 Testing bitcoind RPC connection to 'http://127.0.0.1:19327/' with username '0150r'...
2013-05-06 23:27:21.833000     ...success!
2013-05-06 23:27:21.838000     Current block hash: 82bf42bd838d8e290ebec29b038f985f66e782aadec90b2683fde3569543d526
2013-05-06 23:27:21.843000     Current block height: 13804
2013-05-06 23:27:21.848000
2013-05-06 23:27:21.852000 Testing bitcoind P2P connection to '127.0.0.1:9772'...

Just sits there...

Going to http://127.0.0.1:19327 gives me this after putting in a username/pass:
Code:
{"result":null,"error":{"code":-32700,"message":"Parse error"},"id":null}

I cannot get to that page from a different machine on the same network (using the p2pool machine's IP instead of 127.0.0.1)

It even does not run for me. Smiley

I tried ScryptMinerGUI_r10, too. But it seem not to work either.

Ok, tested a while ScryptMinerGUI and no shares. Then, GUIMiner-Scrypt, 2 shares very fast. Try it.

Thank you for your help, but I am sorry to say, it does not work for me, too.
I startet GUIMiner-Scrypt and it sais "Connection Problems". First I was thinking it could be my firewall (Router or Desktop) and for testing purpose disabled both, but it still had connection problems.
Any Ideas?

It´s not working any more, because of Mt.Gox... but it was fun to code that time... keeping this link just for reminding... Thanks to everyone for donations done that time!

try addnode in config file, check message #171 and 175.
Or wait a little longer. I never had problem to connect. The network is big enough for now.

Yes, after putting in the username and rpcpassword from the junkcoin.conf, it gives me this:

Would love to set up a p2pool , but :

Code:
g++ -c -O2 -pthread -Wall -Wextra -Wformat -Wformat-security -Wno-unused-parameter -g -DBOOST_SPIRIT_THREADSAFE -I/home/adminuser/JunkCoin/src -I/home/adminuser/JunkCoin/src/obj -DHAVE_BUILD_INFO -fno-stack-protector -fstack-protector-all -Wstack-protector -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2  -MMD -MF obj/main.d -o obj/main.o main.cpp
main.cpp:17:53: fatal error: boost/random/uniform_int_distribution.hpp: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.

Apparently you did not include the boost include dir, add something like
-I(your boost include dir)

should help.

addnode=123.16.98.117

addnode=88.182.13.77
addnode=113.162.171.83
addnode=107.3.186.55
addnode=62.163.9.155
addnode=138.130.128.133
