Ah yeah, sometimes you have luck and sometimes you don't.
You can not always forsee which direction altcoins will go, but what i learned is sometimes to just wait it out. (as in don't sell with loss etc. I did that a few times and then 10 minutes later the prices goes up Sad)

A very good trading strategy and I think it is a wonderful experience that you have. Trading is a games of skills and you should understand that you have to keep on practice to become perfect. Even when your 1Bitcoin get to your account you can keep on practicing with little amount until you can trade very well. You can really make a great profit if you

IMO, Sia coin is good for both trading and investing.

As is the case with the far majority of the altcoins, people should only look at them as being a short term investment. There are only a very few coins that are worthy of being kept for a longer period of time -- in most cases people having invested in altcoins end up being a bag holder. From that point you either swallow the loss and sell, or you keep waiting for a pump to happen. Bitcoin is the only proper long term investment when it comes to crypto currencies.

Unless you are trading without any knowledge trading is not about luck, in fact I think that any trader that thinks highly of his skill as a trader will probably be offended if you told them they were lucky since the results of a successful trader cannot be reached with luck alone.

Yes, trading is more of a skill than luck. Have you heard of "professional trader'?, yes its a profession so it mean there is a learning curve involved. We would understand if you have lost as newbie, but you should learn from your mistake and never do the same mistake again.

Yup, a highly skill trader would be offended with such statement, it takes them years to 'perfect' this professional and branding them lucky is wrong.

A couple days ago I transfered enough from my bank account to buy 1 Bit coin.  While waiting for the $ to make it from the bank to the exchange I had $75.00 invested so could use it to practice with.  Keep in mind that I had no experience with bit coin trading and my past day trading did not go well.

Today I saw that SC (Siacoin) was above 10% and volume was above 10,000.  It was also very active pumping up and down.  I did four buy and sell trades, not aiming for much more than 5% profit on each one and increased my $75.00 to $91.00.  It was a great leaning experience.  Also very humbling because on the first trade I made a mistake and lucked out.

Scott

Congrats on executing your first trade. Just keep in mind whenever you are trading that trading is highly risky. It COULd be a good, sustainable long term income for an experienced trader with thousands of executed trades and knowledge, and it could lose all your money.

It's not wise to save up money and then putting all of it to trading. 20%, 30% max. Don't put all your savings into trading altcoins. Trust me, i've seen people go into debt even because they want to get even with a trade they're doing.

Good to see though that you're enjoying it.
Actually it is a good thing to know that even you are new to trading you give a time to invest a portion of your money. But basically in the wolrd of Bitcoin there is more for you to invest with. You need to invest time and patience for you to stay on the platform of trading and for you to learn more ways for you to earn just consider having alternative crypto-currencies that you may have and trade as a part of your trading. And when you experienced the system of buying and selling you could actually make a profit out of it with less time and risk as you learned from your experiences.

Crypto trading is by far the best profit-oriented leisure activity in the world. I can't believe my eyes when I see my investment multiply 100x. Way way better than putting money in the bank.

Each has its own trading strategy. For example, I sometimes choose a lot of old currencies and issue an order. After a while I get at least 200%. Yes, not all shoot, but I still always in the black. For the month made 10x. For example, see https://yobit.io/en/trade/HEEL/BTC

No, Sia is not good for investing. The price keep going down and now it's at 154 sat. I think this coin is like dogecoin, which always sitting on low price and it was only got pump and dump just like now.

this is exactly what i do most of the times Cool
the days that i have time i look for some altcoin no matter what its name is and if it is getting pumped and also if it is in its early stage of the pump i join in and dump it after a small profit, usually it is 5% to 10% but depending on the strength of the pump and if i know something more than just what i see on the charts then i aim for a bigger profit.
and even if price continues going higher after the dip you can always join in again.
If you are willing to take the risk on trading in order for you to earn it is actually a good thing to start on investing on different alternative crypto-currencies. Altcoin can make a good movement in the market because it is much more vulnerable to price change or value change on the market making it more suitable for trading and investments. But actually the success of ones investments on trading always depends your management.

Sia is not a trusted coin. You have already told the reasons not to use it. It does not raise after it falls. One must use some good coins to use and the best of them is bitcoin. But it is something that is on a really high level before stepping into bitcoin world first trade, practice, study and observe the behavior of market by trading in altcoin because altcoin is a step lower than bitcoin. When you become properly aware of all this then move to the bitcoin.

I still remember very well about my trading day. At that time, I bought a small amount of altcoin, but then a few days later, the money went up very quickly, and I gained some profit from it, although I did not much, but it was a start drain.

the first of my trading is so sad haha my told me to buy this coin or any coins then after i follow his instruction but suddenly when the time of  selling i accedentaly dump my coins my mistake is i forgot to change  the price haha.

That's okay for as long as you learned from what happened then everything will go smoothly next time and as I was reading your post its obvious that you just laugh it out because you know that in trading not all the time we win specially for newbies.
I think that this is why it is important that before we trade we look for some videos in youtube about the exchange we are going to use so we get familiar with the interface, and then when we trade we make some very small trades not to earn money but to try the platform and see how it works.

Yeah me too. The excitement of first time trades. And the altcoin you chose will make its mark on you and the first time you'll experience the risk you'll be taking as well as the anticipation.

Right now I’m trying to learn how to trade, I’m not using any money since I’m just writing things on paper and the results are not very good, so I will try to keep learning and practicing but I will only enter the market if my results are positive for quite some time in my imaginary trades.

Little bit slow for a first day but I guess you did all right. I don't understand why you're here telling everybody about it. Fact is that what you need to concentrate on is just one thing and one thing only and that's your trading don't tell anybody about it don't ask questions just get it done and get it done properly. If you have some secrets of trading, better dont reveal them and keep them save for you only.
